You can only listen to these five albums for the rest of your life

Don't overthink it. But feel free to judge everyone for their choices.

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Radiohead - Kid A (I think?)
Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album (not sure this is the right album)
Pixies - Surfer Rosa
Brian Eno - Another Green World

Re: Apologies for downtime

Been going camping a lot since winter decided to end early here. I think I understand camping conceptually, but beds are nice too. Wow, glad the forum is back. I thought you finally had enough. The list of defunct forums I frequented has been growing since the 1980s. Technofeudism for ya. Kinda bum...

Apologies for downtime

Hey y'all. Apologies for downtime. My wallet was lost/stolen and I had to cancel credit cards, which caused the hosting to be cancelled temporarily, something I didn't anticipate. Should be good now.

How y'all doing? Been busy on my end.

Re: Internal monologue

I dunno. I figured I have an internal monologue, but now seeing that many people don't, maybe I don't? It can turn into words at time, and can disappear verbally just as quickly. Maybe those who say that they don't have an internal monologue don't think all that differently, just don't identify in t...

Internal monologue

I saw some post on reddit the other day that around half of people don't have an internal monologue in their heads, while around half of people do. And that it's hard for one half of humanity to understand how the other half thinks. Do you have an internal monologue? I guess there's the question of ...

I've decided that's not a real thing/movie that happened and refuse to search it on the grounds of first principles. https://www.gannett-cdn.com/authoring/2014/09/11/NREP/ghows-OH-3af3d9a8-c0c0-438e-90e4-d56a97bf033f-fdfd101e.jpeg?width=500&height=300&fit=crop&format=pjpg&auto=webp Okay. Re: What are your thoughts and/or feelings on the possibility that conscious life is perpetuating itself through eternit

Since we're not too sure about what consciousness is, I suppose it can't be ruled out. Since we're not too clear on what time is, or if it exists fundamentally (I think that's right), can't rule it out either. I think we're sure on both counts. We just can't explain it. As I believe Gwen Stefani on...
