Re: So I Self Published a Book Today
As a final thought - I'm not sure if this book works for most readers. Maybe ten people have told me they've started it, but only a couple have said they've finished it. Hey! Regrettably I have to add myself to that list, but it's not because of the book - I had to put down the other book I was rea...

Re: So I Self Published a Book Today
Thanks for the info, this is all really useful stuff to know. By the way, I read the first part on Amazon's preview and I'm already hooked, so I'm looking forward to reading it!

Re: So I Self Published a Book Today
Available on Amazon in ebook and paperback format. Free with Kindle unlimited. I have a dream of Madrigal doing a Spanish translation. This is awesome!!! Congratulations. I'm actually getting certified after... 18 years translating? But it'll take a while. I will keep this in mind. :nerd: Meanwhile...

Re: What are you listening to?
I had been introduced to the music by an Australian woman, and the Detroit musician is rarely even recognized in his own country (it could be because he's singing about drugs. . .) Love that album and love love love the documentary. Hard to listen to now because it brings me back to a sad time, tho...

Re: What are you reading?
You mean Kerouac? I fucking hated the one Kerouac book I ever read, but it wasn't that one. (It was Dharma Bums.) Maybe that one's good. I had a feeling I might not like Kerouac but couldn't remember why. Maybe I read a negative comment. Yeah, that might be next. Are you enjoying Moby Dick? I read ...

Moby Dick. Most American thing I ever read (not done yet).
Anyone who read and enjoyed On The Road? That might be next.

Re: Message in a bottle - stuff you wished you'd said but didn't
A person, who I imagine being female though I don't know why, a couple of months ago, who I saw in her window a block away, seemed to mimic my hands on waist, fingers in my waistband posture. I bet she knew I looked at her. I'm thinking I should have played monkey see monkey do with her for a while...

Re: The food and drink thread
Went to a fancy Italian restaurant in Buenos Aires and realized something. My pasta is better. I guess this is what happens when you cook your own food, some restaurants become underwhelming.
