Re: So I Self Published a Book Today

I'm interested in any feedback you have, particularly if you manage to get to the end. My impression is it might be a bit dense, but who knows? Not me. Too close to it. As far as marketing - I was initially excited, but am now not sure if it's worth it in it's present form. Thanks for checking it out.

Re: What are you reading?

Childhood's End - Arthur C Clarke (1953) A story about the fate of the human race. A modern analogue would be the Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy by Liu Cixin. The advantages of this book is the writing is a little better, the entire story is a fifth the length, and the universe it describes is ...

Re: What are you reading?

The Dispossessed - Ursula K Le Guin An idea driven story about a anarchist society coming into contact with a capitalist society. Worth it for its explorations of social structures and their effects. The story itself is pretty good, the writing great, the backstory excellent, and the main character ...

Re: Historical Fragments

From 1980, a year I remember fondly. A lot of glimpses of the future in this one.
