I don't know how credible a claim it is, but I offer this purely for humour.

Re: Media Consumption & Cost
By which I mean I own hundreds of DVDs and can't stop amassing them please send help. Do you convert your DVDs to digital files? I did start doing this with some of the bulk release 4-5 films per disc sets I have, but realistically this ends up being more effort than I am going to put into actually...

Re: Little Rants
Are you me? My tongue hurts reading this. I haven't had an orange in 20 years and I can still smell and feel them in my hands. As a small child I would sit on the floor with an orange in a bowl and eat it while I watched films with my mother. When re-watching some scenes, I can taste it still. Ha! ...

Re: Little Rants
I literally spent my entire childhood with cankersores because my mother would make me eat an orange with my breakfast every morning. The only times I didn't eat the orange were when my mouth was riddled with cankersores. After they'd heal, I'd go back to eating the morning orange, and the cycle wo...

May as well be direct: I am primarily here because I have watched a lot of people die in the last five years and I am desperate for any even slightly familiar names and faces anywhere I can find them. How is veganism bad for the environment? Certain foods common to vegan diets have a drastic, indefe...

Oh, hello there.
I may still have a Facebook account but I only ever used it to add people and then never speak to them there. No interest in using it, though if Twitter has taught me anything it is that I can be pushed anywhere online as a last resort.

Re: With which TV/movie character do you most relate?
That one lady in the turgid lesbian drama with the weird sex scene and where the lead characters can't be together because one dies, or society is irredeemably cruel, or both. Or Pollyanna, the girl whose irrepressible optimism and encouragement of others actually meaningfully improves several peopl...

Re: Media Consumption & Cost
I subscribe to no video services, having long ago lost my taste and tolerance for TV and the majority of new films. I pay for the major local newspaper, a few podcasts, and get books and old films wherever I can find them. By which I mean I own hundreds of DVDs and can't stop amassing them please se...

It's been a tough last year. Blast from the past for all the survivors out there. I am, alas, no survivor. My persistence is incidental and fleeting. Cast your gaze away, to more interesting things ... Like this certified bop which always perfectly suits my mood when it plays as I am leaving/fleein...
