Re: Little gusts of hot air that don't deserve their own thread.
Are you working right now or still looking? Just wondering because I heard there were lots of service jobs available after the "great resignation". Is that true? Anyway, if your neighbor is in her 70s, there should be plenty of things she's not strong enough to do that you could help her with, but ...

Re: Little gusts of hot air that don't deserve their own thread.
A neighbor has been helping me out until I get a financial situation settled. She brought me homemade food and groceries. After my situation is settled I have to decide whether to do something like send her a gift basket. Except that's weird since she's next door, so I guess I'd bring one to her doo...

An old one I never heard of until I got so pissed at commercials that I switched to a commercial-free radio station:
And a new one that I was sure was from the 70s until I looked it up:

Re: Little gusts of hot air that don't deserve their own thread.
I want to win a Key to the City award where I get to walk into any room in any store, office building, government agency, factory, etc. just to look around. I'm sitting in the library and I want to go through the two emergency exits to look at the back yard. I want to look through old store basement...

Re: The food and drink thread
A few months ago I tried grinding almonds in my Ninja blender, which has a steel spindle rotating in a plastic hole. I created plastic smoke infused almond butter. I should have soaked them first.

Re: Site Rules: Permissible Types?
I didn't answer the question though. The former site had a long history of allowing non-INTP members and I think this site allows them too. But I don't remember if this site has a way of indicating your type so I don't know who's what.

Speaking of islands, I think there should have been a hollowed out log that the castaways took turns wearing when it was time to wash their clothes on Gilligan's Island. It would have made the show even more sexy.

Re: Seen on the street
I saw a humongous parked car that turned out to be a Rolls Royce. I think it's the first time in my life I've seen one parked on the street. I not even sure I've seen one on the road. I've seen videos of modern ones like the one I saw but they didn't convey the size or conspicuousness.

Re: Your Favorite Charity
One cause I'd still like to work for is helping kids with nonverbal autism. I mentioned this on the other forum and made it sound like "I have ways to make kids talk...just let me be alone with them." Which I think is true but not in a bad way. I want various sounds drilled into their heads so they ...
