Re: Seen on the internet

When did people start taking pictures of themselves holding up big, decorated cardboard frames?

Or literally hearing their own voice reasoning things out like, "If I do this, so and so will happen, but if I do that..."...

Re: What are you reading?

I didn't know Rubén Darío was Nicaraguan! I used to read his poetry as a teenager.

Re: What are you reading?

I got Mythos by Steven Fry but can't start reading it till next week. I got Heroes too but it hasn't arrived yet. I am actually thinking of publishing a book. That may be the privileged Nicaraguan tradition. However, our Northern provinces (Esteli, Matagalpa, Jinotega, Nueva Segovia) heritage is Bas...

Re: Bachelor Chow

Spaghetti with butter and black pepper.
Spaghetti with a pack of tomato sauce squirted on top, then olive oil, then black pepper and salt.
Spaghetti with mustard.

Re: RTO

I've always had real jobs that require actually doing things and not just fucking around on the internet, so I have never "worked" from home This reminds me of someone I know who told me he basically fixed the electrical circuits in airplanes for a living. I was shocked and told him he was the only...

Re: RTO

Yeah I'm fully remote since the pandemic. Some people are starting to sporadically go back to the office but I have a contract amendment so even when everyone else goes back I'll be remote forever. I actually moved completely out of the city. It's great honestly. What kind of work are you doing? Wo...

RTO

Anybody here still working from home since the pandemic started? Hybrid work? Full return to office? I basically check job ads every day just to see if there are any translation agencies I can send my CV to, but so many of them are looking for in-house employees. There is no justification for certai...
