Spanish Octopus https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/259483/spanish-octopus/ Anyway, is octopus really similar to calamari? I saw some of that at Costco. I have no doubt I could eat a ton of it but still a lot came in a package and without having set plans for people to come over, I didn't want to get...

Re: Depression is likely not caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, study says

I've tried SSRIs and SNRIs. They didn't seem to help and just gave me side effects. The "chemical imbalance" thing never really sounded right to me. Re: The food and drink thread

So here's a real vegetarian recipe, compliments of the internet. I made it almost exactly as stated with two club sized zucchinis that we despaired of finding a use for. The key step that's easy to overlook is sweating the water out of the shredded zucchini with salt. Don't skip that. It's excellen...

If the nuclear winter doesn't come first

I notice I've started to add this to the end of my sentences when I'm telling someone about my plans for the next five years or so.

What do you want to achieve/finish/experience/finally get to do before the nuclear winter?
