Re: Growing food from seed
Which lights does she use? I have four different kinds I’ve been experimenting with for the last two years. I grow my seeds in my furnace room lol. But, it’s an upgrade from growing them in my garage. I wish I could be starting already, but our last frost date is quite late in Minneapolis. Getting t...

Re: Growing food from seed
In my own garden, i don't. never have a problem either. Love raising things from seed, I am a bit of a kleptomaniac regards seeds and cuttings. I bring things back from all over the place and like trying to grow thinks from fruit I eat. Strange hobby for someone that works in plant research all day...

Re: Growing food from seed
What’s your favorite method for sanitizing seed starting trays each season?
I washed them in my tub last year pretty thoroughly and still lost a whole tray to what I suspect was soap residue.
I haven’t tried a bleach-based method yet.

Re: Post Your Dream
Patch-prompted wild dream excerpt: My tonsils or some other imaginary new body part in my throat had split in half (the halves were still joined together) and I could open my mouth and see them kind of flopping around and occasionally blocking my esophagus. I took a saw and sawed out a section of my...

Re: The food and drink thread
I’m quitting smoking right now. I’m using the patch and it’s giving me the wildest dreams. Huh, I didn't know about that side-effect! Any lucid ones? I went cold turkey but I start drinking a bit more alcohol when I quit (this isn't my first try). No lucid ones right now, but I'm definitely thinkin...

Re: The food and drink thread
I tried to make a dessert that takes moscato, and it came out wrong. However, I have discovered that I positively love moscato. Moscato is amazing. I made Mississippi Pot Roast for the first time a couple weeks ago. I've made it two more times, now. Big thumbs up. https://www.emmymade.com/5-ingredi...

Oh also
L.O.L.
So he was there with me and we left together and this is how it went:
Silence
Silence
Me: Well. That was embarrassing.
Silence
Him: I’d like to make it to practice before it ends.
*he literally runs away into the night*
lolol

Public speaking is a whole 'nother thread. Also, why are you speaking publicly at 17? What does a 17 year old have of interest to say to the public at 17 years of age? He asked me to go up for an elected position to represent our ultimate frisbee teams on some board. I asked a couple times what the...
