Re: Little Rants
Pretty sure I've ranted more than once about various forms of telemarketing in the USA. Is this a USA-only sort of thing, or do people who live in other countries experience the joy of people trying to wrangle (con) money out of you over the phone on a regular basis?* --- *I'm guessing the answer i...

Normally I wear shorts and a colored t-shirt unless the weather gets below freezing. Then I put on a...

Re: Ancestry
Yup, I was initially excited about having above-average amount of Neanderthal genes, but they revised me down to average. Speaking of which, 23andme should be able to track Denosovian genes as well. Re: Run-up to WW3
Political opinions aside, it's the Russians who are invading, bombing and killing (often civilian targets) these days. Not the Ukrainians, so it's blatantly obvious who the bad guys are. You left out conquering, as Russia literally annexed large portions of Ukraine last fall in the middle of the wa...

Re: Internal monologue
If you internal dialogue is a monologue, you're an introvert. If it is a dialogue with an imaginary person, you must be an extrovert! /joke

Re: Internal monologue
I have complete aphantasia too:... I can't even see any kind of ghost-like shadow.... That's interesting, I'm certainly on the low end of the scale on this test, and I'm not sure if I ever think in images. I can recall ghostly images of things I've seen, but imagining something new? Easier to verba...
