My forties so far: doing tiresome stuff to be less tired (I also have a hangover from eating starburst)

I’m baffled by the popularity of white sneakers. Aren’t you worried about getting them dirty? I’m antsy just being in the room with a fresh pair. Is the appearance of an earth free lifestyle worth this Sword of Damocles?
