Re: The Eurovision thread!

Re: What are you reading?

I'm between novels right now and I'm thinking I should just go back to non-fiction. My commie literature beckons. :/ I don't dare allow the full number to form, even in thought let alone in speech, but I have dozens of books occupying tenuous, fruitless positions on my to-read and in-progress lists...

Re: Little Raves

I wore actual leather boots today for the first time since 2019 and it was amazing. I've been wearing running shoes since the pandemic started. It does one's legs no favors, lol. I always liked heels and especially the feel of leather boots. Are you vegan? You are really putting the wo...

Re: Voice or text?

Sometimes I want the more personal touch of audio, sometimes I want the precision of text I can refer back to and copy/paste as needed, and if I can't trust the other person to make a judgement call and...

Re: What are you watching?

I guess this is a Catoptric thread, but we're watching Succession and it's really entertaining. I also think whoever did the soundtrack should also be credited with a huge part of its appeal. I despise Succession and think its writers are a pack of condescending dildo jugglers, but even I can't den...

This from the person that didn't know the Lambada. :p
Pure slander.

Of course I know the song you doofus, just not from it's name.
It is a dance, dumbass. As I just discovered five seconds ago on the way to deciding which terrible lambda joke to make here. Instead you get this!

Re: The Eurovision thread!

Had to see what Ireland is up to this year: The start sounds like autotune or something, and she really needs to relax or she'll give herself a hernia This reminded me of a recent Indila song, Parle à ta tête , in that it almost sounds like the unfortunate remix version of an otherwise OK/good song...

Re: The Eurovision thread!

I essentially hate modern pop so my tastes are tediously predictable. See how shocked you are that I am keen on this melodramatic bullshit:

And "I Don't Feel Hate" delivers on fun nonsense, I GUESS.
