Mostly to stalk people, but also to discuss current events, rant about stuff nobody IRL will want to listen to, and share/ask for tips on things nobody is an expert in. That might sum it up.

Emotional and mental shits without having to explain anything, it's a form of horcrux. Even reddit asks for context most of the time and it's like cross fingers ew no, no context

I don't even care about interacting with people, even scrolling past justifies the dump. Whispering secrets into holes in trees that stalkers don't find until they've become boring

Same as the o.p. more or less. Just to look in on my old forum familiars once in a while and shoot the breeze if a subject catches my fancy.

I want to read longer posts that people might write here like in the ancient times. Just going to lurk probably unless I get into the habit, but my limited social meter is full.

I'm a sentimental hoarder. Last year I threw out the pictures I drew when I was five, so in couple decades I should be ready to throw you all away.

I also like having a journal that's open to people who are familiar to me and yet not involved in my actual life. It's sometimes therapeutic and if nothing else just a useful way to sort through my own thoughts.

I'm here because I have so much to give that my cup runneth over. It's all meshuggah I put in there, I tell you. oy.
