This is where we can get all defensive and explain the quotes that Utisz selected to highlight on the index page.

About me blaming a store's cold refrigerator for spoiling milk... what I meant was the refrigerator may have been cold enough when I checked it but intermittently got too warm. It also may have been a truck AC issue. I still won't buy milk there.

If you are going to make this work, you are going to have to post the quote in question before your explanation.

❝The comforter is synthetic and holds in heat too well most of the time.❞ HighlyIrregular - 2021
Maybe in your land all comforters are synthetic to keep out the Arctic air but I need a little breathability! It's comfortable for a while then gets too hot and I think a natural fill would be better. There's a reason we don't sleep under plastic wrap!

I've always purchased down filled comforters so I can't really say. I never gave breathability much thought, I have just been pavloved into believing down is the best insulation for any item to wrap a human in. But breathability might be part of it.

I recall some INTPer once said - "life is too short for cheap toilet paper or cheap sheets" - I would extent that sentiment to bedding in general.

I wrote notes to random girls in sixth grade and got surprisingly good results.
I was in sixth grade too, I didn't mean last week! And I just got good replies and one or two numbers.
