I never believed the conspiracies about Kubrick, though have noticed some evident underlying narrative (kind of the zeitgeist of Kubrick's thinking.) It gets to a point where the conspiracy becomes mocked or encouraged, similar to the Beatles and the various conspiracies, where they kind of troll the fanbase.

Traumnovelle (Wolfgang Glück, 1969) Book by Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931) 1926

Book - Traumnovelle aka Dream Story (1926) Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931)

(NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS GUY IS A COMPLETE BULLSHITTER)

Reminds me of the cringey "authenticity" of most psychopaths.

And yet the UFO cults don't like to call it out when they see it and perpetuate the bullshit reputation they are known for.

This guy on the other hand might truly believe what he's talking about. Initially, I was considering how genuine he seemed. Still, I can't help but think he is either "not all there" or is purposefully vague about the descriptions not to make sense of something he purports to experience. It's one of those things where you "KNOW" what you are going to say and can give insight into the perspective and experience; such as explaining the layout of the room and the living situation, and how something is evidently out of the ordinary, but instead, he comes across as either a bad story-teller or he lacks metacognitive awareness. The fact he doesn't elaborate on his experience in comparison to what we normally consider of alien abduction claims/stories/fabrications, just makes it seem like he might be doing this for attention and to perhaps get on the usual bandwagon that most of the "UFO grifter circuit" is known for (and I say this as someone that 100% believes in UFO/UAP experiences and have documented them,) even if I consider certain aspects kind of "ring true" for the nature of the experiences, any of which could just be due to someone reading up and becoming familiar with the usual hallmarks (all of which could actually be caused by someone disassociating as this guy could have been doing if he really believes his story.)

And very shortly into the video it becomes evident he is 100% a bull monkey. . .

Django (Sergio Corbucci, 1966) Franco Nero

Django Unchained is available as well (though both links will likely not be active after a while. . .)

In 1966 another Django movie called 'A Few Dollars for Django' (1966) directed by León Klimovsky, Enzo G. Castellari, and screen written by two different people was released, which differed starkly, and had a different main actor.

I was wondering why the recent Takashi Miike film was so boring, and realized that the original is probably far better. I would rather watch a variation of the 47 Ronin than his films (at least I would find it more interesting.) Though here:

It's a sleepy, simple existence until a Russian truck driver named Sergei (Vlodimir Gostukhin) falls asleep at the wheel and crashes outside their home. "The Tree of Wooden Clogs is a 1978 film by Ermanno Olmi that depicts the lives of four peasant families in 19th-century Italy. The film is a powerful example of Italian neorealism, a film movement that emphasized the harsh realities of life for the working class"

"On a northern Italian farm in the late 19th century, a group of sharecroppers eke out a threadbare existence. A priest advises Batisti (Luigi Ornaghi) and his wife, Batistina (Francesca Moriggi), that their young son, Minec (Omar Brignoli), should be formally educated, so they sacrifice his help in the fields and send him to school. When Minec's wooden shoe breaks one day, Batisti--in an act of desperation--puts the family's future at risk to replace the clog."

At the border exchange, however, the family of the man rejects the sick boy, putting the siblings in a harrowing race against time."

Over the course of a few days, the boy is tempted away from his spiritual existence into a sexual relationship. The "Tree of Life" in Kaballah might just be a medieval fabrication (and I'm surprised when looking into the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake the topic of Sephiroth has never been brought into question as it might apply to the thematic elements; I've yet to buy the new remake (Intergrad, and now Rebirth is coming out for PC.) I'm a little pissed at how vapid things seem.

I was watching a video of people exploring the now abandoned (and being destroyed) Sears headquarters in Chicago, which was acquired by a datacenter headquarter in Dallas, who claims to be redeveloping the Sears building complex (which was one of the largest in the world) by mostly repurposing materials. Just Google:

Sears headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Then I came across other areas of Chicago being acquired by different tech companies who are also sucking up all the neighborhoods with billions of dollars in investments

Looking into it further:
"The number of data centers in Greater Chicago shot up nearly 20% between 2020 and 2022, according to research firm Mangum Economics. It said over $4 billion has been invested in data centers since 2020 with an additional $4 billion in investments announced.Dec 13, 2024"

After the arrest the château was the home of the "de Merendonque" family. During the French Revolution, the château was stormed and the furniture was sold throughout France."

Alexandre was the eldest of seven children of which only one had children - and that was not Alexandre but his sister, Renée, who had married Gabriel de Mailloc. Alexandre had inherited all the titles of his father which included the counties of Créquy-Bernieulles and Cléry as well as the barony of Combon.

Marie Maignard was a member of the noblesse de robe as her father was the President of the Parliament in Normandy. The couple had no children, so the title went to Renée's son: Gabriel-René de Mailloc. This also meant that it officially exited the Créquy-family, as Gabriel-René went by his father's name.

A longer (and more distracted) video about a similar concept of supply and demand (in which it assumes that a communist system would be more restrained ("hypothetically.")

Undeniably it does seem that the last grasping at straws is leading to a quiet whisper of, "just let this happen!"

**************************

I've been seeing some pretty crazy homes that people are buying in Japan, two of which go back to the early edo era (this first one is claimed to be 1400s? ? ? Muromachi era?)

Website about the place (the video is actually a few years old now and I'm wondering about the katanas she found and needs a $5,000 polishing treatment in order to estimate their value in order to preserve them as historical artifacts to be preserved, as otherwise they get destroyed.) Japan has always had extremely strict rules in regards to weapons.
https://www.sasuichi.org/

This other house (different "American") was just recently acquired and has a shrine attached to it, and sat abandoned after the 18th generation died off (and or whomever might be related just wanted nothing to do with it. Since it wasn't too far from Fukushima, it's possible people moved towards Tokyo and forgot about it, as it's been a rural area.)

A bog on the subject:
https://daveostory.com/writing-fiction- ... resources/

I suspect social media from foreigners might actually help save and preserve these structures, as it's taking on a new trend of people wanting to move to Japan, but I wonder about the economic situation and how often people might actually use these as an AirBNB (since it seems more like a fad as people move away from more trendy approaches to travel, if they can even afford to; ergo the first videos. . .) Though English speakers might be in demand for certain business goals, I doubt they are entirely desirable, unless properties like these are considered acceptable (as many abandoned structures costs a significant amount to restore to become habitable, such as the above video with the Goeman bathtub, fire pit, and slightly more modern but still practically camping out with a cast iron stove. The outside exterior buildings have crumbling mud exteriors, and other structures that appear to have been removed by the time the guy toured the property, which he eventually buys recently after that video from a year ago.)

Aussie in Japan
https://www.youtube.com/@ChaniJapan

Most are older, or academics (probably on the spectrum, usually. . .)

But also, I was often hearing about how xenophobic Japan is, though that doesn't seem to be the case for smaller towns that have a decline in population and want to maintain it (unusual though, is that the second video has an evidently Aussie Japanese person who was fluent in both, that worked for the city, which is not uncommon if they want to attract foreign tourism or residents.) Thailand is popular as well, especially for the elderly because they don't treat people like shit (unlike the US which is a complete fucking joke for healthcare and human decency, which isn't just a recent phenomenon. Conversely you could look at movies like Ikiru as a similar comparison to the phenomenon, so perhaps it's not always the case, and it might also explain why such houses that reflect historic Japanese customs might seem to clash badly with modernization (as demonstrated by Chinas historic traditions being dismantled, usually by a megalomaniac taking over regional powers.)

A common theme are social reject (or basically Hikikomori, which is becoming a global problem, and might make such people gravitate to Japan)

14:00 For a wannabe artist, he sure has a funny mustache as a disguise. . .

Interesting looking book at 1:05:00 which is out of print and pretty rare evidently (it's always odd when you find books written by people that commit horrible crimes, and it kind of reveals something about their personality.) The thing I find kind of weird is he was using what looked like a Polaroid camera for those images, which seems a bit strange (even if given the tech he was using, they weren't too bad.)

The Cup and The Lip Exotic Tales (2011) H Jerome and Rita Alter

You could sort of say they did some "alterations" to the paintings, and it probably wasn't their only theft, as they would have probably tried to hide the painting and only attempt to steal ones that weren't of such a high profile in the news.

As the video goes on I kind of relate to taking photos of artifacts, as I do something similar but have absolutely zero interest in acquiring art (though I do have old museum posters as well as small brutalist sculptures that would never be shown in a museum because they are just kind of weird.)

The fact they were donating this stuff to offload it may also explain how people seem to be finding very old antiques (like ancient Roman bust sculptures and similar antiques) that end up in thrift stores (though of course you can also find such things on Ebay which also opens up another topic of how accountable the antique markets are to preserving things or not acquiring artifacts from graves, etc. )

Another weird thing is you have the opposite of this and that includes those that fake historic artifacts (such as one artist that claims many meso-American artifacts pretending to be from a little known culture are actually ones he created, though due to so few representations exist of their culture, many people wrongly believed they were authentic, and I suspect I've seen a few in museums, as even when he reported these as they would show up in museums, they would remain on display) or pretend to pass things off as famous painters by imitating their technique (and similar stuff has happened with wine which people mistake for authentic Thomas Jefferson 1800 vintage or something, etc)

Though as you continue with it, a much darker reality become evident, in that the book was a confessional about homicide and burying a migrant workers body in a septic tank (which in reviews of the book on Amazon, people assumed was fiction. . . It wasn't.

The only option are ebooks:
https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-cu ... 1103909217

And a pretty good explanation of what is found that comprised the main story of the above documentary:

New FBI clues reveal more about the mysterious couple who had a stolen de Kooning painting
https://www.azcentral.com/in-depth/news ... 195231001/

and some new artifacts discovered at the home (it's assumed they hired migrants and may have concealed art behind the house walls, though most of it was out in the open, and they seemed to offload a lot of it when traveling to Europe at a time when little was noticed of such activity without TWA.

More mystery - California writer finds two more stolen works in estate of now-famous Cliff couple

Looking into an underwater anomalies referred to as Sycamore Knoll off of Malibu, CA.

I've looked into this anomolie (which you would think is just some random plate tectonic and weather erosion phenomenon) but apparently a lot of people are collaborating the claim that lights are seen coming from it.

It should be in the range of depth referred as the "twilight zone" (not referring to the TV show) where it is too dark but also get's too deep to properly explore (and I wouldn't be surprised if the unusual shape produces a lot of current motion that interfere with exploration, as it probably caused the device to become severed from the boat, in this video:

My guess is tectonic activity could be creating a bunch of negative ions, that produce ball lightning phenomenon, though I also wouldn't ignore the possibility that perhaps an alien intelligence might conceal themselves in various parts of the ocean (as it would be a bit like going into deep space, and perhaps they would just obscure themselves in the water, as is often reported?)

Sovereign wealth (slush) fund might have been inspired from the Reapers?

Ironically, even prior to reading the username of the video creator (which I'm sure isn't connected,) I was thinking of the Reapers when Donald Trump announced his 'Sovereign Wealth Fund,' (a system that governments with large surpluses utilize to invest in the stock market with the intent to benefit the government and it's people) which will mostly likely function like private equity firm that does a slash and burn (and grab) of whatever businesses they control, which incidentally some governments have been known to use and get arrested for pocketing the money, especially since the US government has run a cycle of debt while giving tax breaks of tens of billions per year to the largest companies.

To some extent these might go back to he 18th century with the Hellfire Club, which Ben Franklin had been attending who also had human remains found in one of the places he shared with someone with a background in medical science (so perhaps they were just studying anatomy with donated human remains, but it seems they opted out of not burying them properly?)

Most of it just seems symbolic, and it really comes down to how people try to rationalize their own particular version of "altruism," since too often it almost seems that people don't always act in their own best interest, but are incapable of realizing it (which includes those who do think in terms of antiquity where society was often rewarded for sociopathic behavior only so far as it was necessary, and which society has tried to do away with (but it's always inescapable that someone will elevate themselves to positions of power where they destroy everything in their path.)

When you really think about what the initiation ceremony suggests, is that those who are initiating the Master Mason are doing so from the perspective of the non-initiatied, but also in the tradition of the Templars who knew that when fighting in the Holy Land that they would be tortured under duress, and so the ceremony reflected the mistreatment they would receive (but also perhaps gave false confessions since they would be tortured) which wasn't too different from the Salem Witch Trials (in which people would rather expedite their death than give false confessions that would harm others or would go against their belief system, since many were probably dissociating from all the trauma.)

******************************

The company behind Neon Genesis Evangelion that would become Gainex named itself Daicon films after a convention (named after the convention in Osaka; had they been making the video in another city it would have taken on a different name.

Since this wasn't necessarily for profit and was more of a fan based video, and was about animation in general, they could get away with putting a bunch of copyrighted intellectual property.

A decent short film (showing the first that the group did in Daicon 3, which go onto a 12 person group which matured in style.)

Backstory

Haven't watched yet but might later

Another opening anime at a convention called Uracon III (1984 in Kanazawa) which is kind of rare, and likely inspired from the above. It almost looks like the Bubble Bobble character two years before it would have came out on NES (and though other ports exist, they were mostly contemporary to it.)

It's kind of odd because they didn't use voiceovers.

Some more Japanese convention stuff (it kind of died off around the game crash of 1984)

Probably bullshit but I'm not 100% sure (Looking into some of the people he's referring to who did write books that align with 1947 physics and things that "could have been" reverse engineering.)

When the fuck does a Green Beret go to Area-51 and see something like 'Offworld Technology' on a sign, without any fucking clearance to be revealed such things? ? ? Makes no fucking sense (and at the very least if he was near it, it would be so compartmentalized that only those whose explicitly knew what something was referring to, would actually have a hint, and couldn't tell anyone (akin to how North Korea refers to their fake currency lab as 'Room 39' or Japan had it's wacked out "Scientist/Doctor" in 'Unit 731' which doesn't leave a lot to the imagination unless you knew the backstory.

Bullshit

I was going over a book after questioning the absurdity of Trump's DEI hire who claims to be getting people from the Warren Commission to review the classified documents (no matter that they are dead. . .) Just as bullshitters who claimed to be connected to the JFK assassination also claimed to have witnessed a UFO incident, named Fred Crisman, who was investigated by someone I know named Edd Jeffords which was mentioned in a book titled, along the lines of 'JFK & UFO' Maury Island (2011) Kenn Thomas

I suspect the documents that are still classified, are classified because they were misdirections of investigation, or people generally are too dumb to understand that they were irrelevant (and possibly misguided attempts at finding out the real culprits,) when more than likely it was just some kook named Oswald who was clearly guilty.
Just as there are some people on Youtube who claim they witnessed JFK's autopsy, who are probably grifters.
I knew someone (who is now dead; Edd Jeffords 1945–2002) who would later become an Assistant Attorney General of Texas in Austin, who investigated someone named Fred Crisman who claimed to be connected to the assassination who would actually write a book which was referencing him in an encounter (where he was subpoenaed,) in a book called JFK and UFO by Kenn Thomas. It amounted to a dubious individual who wanted to draw attention to themselves to sell books and go on the grifter bandwagon that people were doing in the 1970s.
I don't deny that more than one shooter might have been present and perhaps what happened was evidence tied to Oswald was being purposely left to keep the narrative what they wanted to be consistent (such as, was the Carcano rifle bullet intentionally left on a random stretcher or were people confused about how they were handling JFK as he was being brought in, which allowed for the bullet to be left there? Or perhaps the bullet fell out and someone picked it up and afterwards it was assumed that such a bullet wasn't the kind that would spread upon being fired or impacted, if it was designed for penetrating armor,) as otherwise people wouldn't find closure, much as they probably wouldn't be familiar with human psychology and why witnesses could easily mistake someone like Oswald shooting Officer Tibbit and thought more than one person was involved in that, just as they also believed the acoustics of the grassy knoll implied another shooter behind the fence, just as the glass from the limousine was missing practically as soon as JFK was still at the hospital in a coma, doesn't necessarily imply they were trying to hide the trajectory or that someone wasn't actually investigating it for forensics. I don't disbelieve the possibility that foul play was involved to some extent but people really do underestimate the competence of people within government (just as they put WAY TOO MUCH trust in those who acquire money through deception and fraud and think they are good at "handling money" when it involves other people and not themselves and their coterie.)
Ironically, Trump went to Russia and came back home and might even have Mafia ties, so it's kind of "funny" that he shares more similarities to Oswald. . .
While mentioning Trumps similarities to Oswald in the above spoiler, check out the book:

Apparently, Fred Crisman isn't forgotten and I discovered an animation from 2023:

Fred Crisman: Cave of The Space Nazis!
