An 18-year-old (or 19, as even the article title contradicts the age) was fishing with his father and was sucked into an overflow drain and had his body found days later (or still unrecovered, though it was acknowledge how he went missing.)

18-year-old who drowned in Mountain Creek identified [Gavin Phommachack, 19]
https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/local ... e%20victim.

I looked up the name of the son that drowned and strangely it looks like the father created his Tiktok account (when googling Gavin and the last name, it says his father created the account from the search data https://www.tiktok.com/@gat214o
) which is how I found out his name (Sornsack). . . He was also arrested a few years ago on theft of metal worth less then $20k (in metal bars/pipes? which incidentally, a company called 'Alex (Sewer/plumbing) Clearing' registers his name in Dallas ( https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/dallas/profil ... 5-91341153 ) so maybe he got arrested after trying to steal plumbing equipment? Could it also suggest a familiarity with the spillway and the likelihood his son wouldn't resurface for a while?

https://dallastx.mugshots.zone/phommach ... 5-31-2022/
THEFT OF MATERIAL ALUM/BRNZ/COPPER/BRASS <$20K ( Bond: 0.00 )

The further I looked into it he seems really unhinged and posted things that might even suggest he planned something, and is prone to violence; if not a bit "off" (posting responses to random Elon Musk dupe/clones, and seemingly unable to rationalize, and possibly prone to paranoia.) He talks about burning some house(s) on a wealthy street while also posting weird things in succession, such as "following my kids" and the followup with a selfie saying, "Me wanting to kill," after posting about how his selfie looks like an unwanted mug shot.

https://www.sotwe.com/SornsackGat

His house address (?) is listed on there and doesn't reflect "Chief Technology Officer" of a large stock trading platform (as below) or whatever else his social media shows.

6119 Ridan Ln. Dallas,TX 75211

He might have resorted to criminal behavior to indulge in prostitutes (and he also posts fishing references.

https://www.tiktok.com/@sornsack.phommachack

He seems to have lost his job at an upscale Sushi restaurant in 2018 and only hinted at leaving after being told off by several of the staff:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/sornsack-ph ... -672022aa/

But then his same account shows "CTO of Webull" (a popular trading platform.)
https://www.linkedin.com/in/sornsack-ph ... 870478309/

He seems to "fake" his public image.

Different accounts which I'm pretty sure are the same guy (he writes weird.)

**And maybe it was just an unfortunate accident, but the father's social media and background is pretty strange, though if it was a freak accident it's possible they simply didn't anticipate the amount of rain that posed a threat to safety with the spillway?*

Should I report my suspicions or would it be obvious they would already consider him a suspect? The problem I have is I'm assuming the photos with his kids are actually from a much earlier time period, and he might have had the boy in his early 20s (though several social media profiles suggest they are still rather young.)

Another weird thing I found was when searching his name, you will find a profile of a young girl's Instagram account (@smoor2732) that doesn't match what you would expect her name to be, considering his exact name pops up. Whether it's his daughter, it seems a bit strange that a "CTO" of a major company didn't know to put her actual name into the account if he created it for her?

I'm probably the paranoid one here, but the name is kind of hard to mistake for someone else, and it's very evident the guy has a crazy amount of dupe accounts, and things that just don't make any sense (unless of course he was faking prosperity to make people fall for his lies?)

Discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/c ... _in_april/

Funimation (which became Crunchyroll) has been a big part of anime being introduced to the US, and it seems some things are happening with the company.

Hizao Miyazaki was also reluctant to adopt streaming platforms, preferring instead to only have movie theaters and physical copies (though ultimately this lead to widespread piracy from China,) and incidentally, I believe streaming may also have contributed to piracy and easy access to online material. And yet again, the reminder of why piracy exists in the first place is because of the shit shown above (and likewise other platforms make it impossible to download games you owned, or will make you realize you wasted thousands of dollars or spent thousands of hours contributing to something, only for it to be wiped off the face of the earth, even if by all accounts and purposes it should not have been.

In general though I believe what made anime popular became far too saturated with derivative and mediocre animes (or mostly the vast majority aren't exactly critical thinkers who gravitate towards memes and charicatures, which only keeps people motivated to watch if they lack critical thinking.)

The great animes get glossed over in favor of what draws peoples attention. And even though I was obsessed with seeing what Dragonball Z would show up with, and have a very idealized view of Chrono Trigger and the tradition of the Dragon Warrior/Quest series, It's only so long that some of the series seem contrived (much as why I hate how television became a deer in the headlights marketed to crack and meth heads; though my opinion may differ from others.)

Most of my interest in anime stems from videogames that were starting to incorporate animation sequences, as well as what I saw at that time as being an entirely new universe to explore outside of what was normally accessible to American audiences (though that only takes you so far when the material usually costs prohibitive, and even once you get it the novelty wears off and you realize you don't really want to collect vast quantities of useless junk.)

Animes and video game enthusiasts are for escapist fanboys/girls that feel they have an entire world outside of the one surrounding them in which they can feel accepted and become a part of what limited exposure they have to their "culture" (derived from an extreme example of a people in a made up universe of their own) from which to not be criticized or questioned, and which they can hide behind their insecurities (similar to crazy people that sleep with 'Applejacks' from My Little Pony.)

The people that gravitated towards X-Men and had a reality program about how they develop a superhero fetish, are probably not too different from a mentally handicapped person thinking he's the 'Strongest Man in the World!' (ergo, the character Artie from 'Pete and Pete.')

I think the streaming services have become so overwhelming that they cut their own balls off and can no longer reproduced naturally, and now it's resorted to artificial insemination (where everything is fake and anything genuine has been culled from society.)

It seems I'm not alone in thinking this:

And people overseas will continue to churn out super babies while mocking dumb Americans who are too busy masturbating to big-titted animes.

Trump lost hush money trial on all counts. He's the first former president to be convicted of a crime. If he loses other pending cases, he could end up in prison and be unable to serve as president...or run for president, forgot which. An appeal of today's verdict wouldn't be over until after the election.

Well, a felony conviction theoretically renders a person ineligible to be president, but I don't think there's any law against trying to convince people to vote for you for a position you're not eligible to actually hold.

Pretty sure a convicted felon can still run legally. Talking head on the news opined the founding fathers figured shame would keep a convicted felon from ever being elected so did not ban it specifically the constitution.

The founding fathers clearly never anticipated social media, how it would kill mainstream moderated media, and just how stupid the populace could get when not steered by some sort of at least reasonable, if not moral, compass.

May we live in interesting times.

The sound was muted? It was God Bless the USA Song by Lee Greenwood, in which the bull ironically jumps out of the stadium after singing about freedom and the life given as sacrifice, for that freedom. . . Ironic, I know!

Another Irony is I suspect the bull was probably put down, much as the American way shrugs against those who choose to express freedoms when overstepping their boundaries.

The actual news:

LOOK: Rodeo bull named 'Party Bus' jumps fence and escapes, injures three people
https://www.cbssports.com/general/news/ ... ee-people/

Here it was posted to Facebook by CBS, unmuted (probably reposted from a social media site, as most bullshit news is.
