Startling new statistics have shown a 300% increase in searches for Irish citizenship, as Americans with Irish roots seek an ‘escape route.’
BTW, any Canadians want to become my common law wife?

I believe it’s easier to get Italian citizenship if you have that heritage, I have a bunch of ancestry from Western Europe and have researched it. But, they should be careful because Europe is way more crazy than America, plus they are poorer (mercantilist system), but obviously beautiful and has its perks. What’s happening in America is culture wars but you have to be critical and read academic books, not rely on mass media. Politics has a lot of rhetoric and the attention economy is huge.

I suspect the source of this is bullshit

Does COBOL programming default to 1875, and if it doesn't does it default to an earlier date for some reason?
I'm trying to confirm that source as everything was supposed to default to 1875, so if it goes in excess of that, that is pretty strange. There are some people that were still receiving pension payments because their father fought in the Civil War, though they died some time ago now, and that could possibly factor in some retroactive payment system; or it demonstrates incompetent database management (which would be the whole point of an audit.)
The problem is when they seem to have installed backdoor access (since they are hackers, after all) and had already demonstrated being unreliable with secret documents from previous work.
My guess is, more than likely that source is made up. . .
I am looking into it more and there are some suggestions.

They seem to suggest something similar, where a person could still be receiving some kind of payment still through inheritance.
This question is brought up here:

I also suspect something happened with the Nuclear thing, as result of them still using COBOL as well as old tech, because the newer ones that were being implemented brought a whole bunch more issues that were of a greater risk to national security (though of course we probably have a significantly bigger issue now, don't we?
Economist Richard Wolff thinks the recent decisions signal a much greater problem, where the USA can't expect the society to grow, and sees any "outsiders" as a liability, since our society is so blunderingly incompetent.

Some movies which also reflect crony political behavior (reflecting the current administration.)
A Face in the Crowd (Elia Kazan, 1957) Andy Griffith, Walter Matthau, Lee Remick
The Intruder (Roger Corman, 1962) William Shatner (about racial segregation)
I suspect Musk and Trump's Der Will Zer Mach (Social Darwinism) is also influenced by techno-fuedalism or Neo-Monarchism crap like this guy:
Curtis Yarvin - Neoreactionary Canon, (2014) Nick Land, Brice Laliberte, et al
https://archive.org/details/neoreaction ... 1/mode/2up
I also suspect they have a fetish for Izekai manga films involving being reborn as a little girl and becoming a fascist dictator, such as Saga of Tanya the Evil aka Youjo Senki.

In 1875, the American Express Company established the first private pension plan in the United States.
I can also see a situation where the SSA recipient in 1940 was born in 1875. The recipient age 65 could have married someone very young for 10 years. That younger person could be on survivors benefits and continue receiving payments.
Here is an example: https://www.ssa.gov/history/idapayroll.html
On January 31, 1940, the first monthly retirement check was issued to Ida May Fuller of Ludlow, Vermont, in the amount of $22.54. Miss Fuller, a Legal Secretary, retired in November 1939. She started collecting benefits in January 1940 at age 65 and lived to be 100 years old, dying in 1975.
https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10084.pdf
https://www.ssa.gov/survivor/eligibility
So if in 1965 this retired person married someone age 18... Then that person at 18 never remarried. Could they end up in a situation where they receive survivors benefits from the original applicant?
The recent spouse would be born in 1947 and marry in 1965 for 10 years until their spouse's death... not have remarried or worked, then at age 60 in 2007, derive survivors benefits from original applicant?

I've had a long-running fantasy about moving to Switzerland, and last I checked they still have an open naturalization system where you can just apply for citizenship after a certain amount of time as a resident alien, regardless of anything else about you, like the USA.aether wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 12:15 amI believe it’s easier to get Italian citizenship if you have that heritage, I have a bunch of ancestry from Western Europe and have researched it. They might still be crazy, though. I don't really follow their politics.

Re: What's going on in your city/country/region?
I was thinking it also parallels Pablo Escobar's Brother (I thought it was his son) stolen idea for a "not a flamethrower," which resembles Beef Supreme.
Pablo Escobar's Brother Says Elon Musk Stole His Flamethrower Idea: ''We Both Know You Stole From Me'
https://www.newsweek.com/escobar-elon-m ... er-1449338
Even though Pablo Escobar sued Elon for $100 million, he also is known to burn $1 billion out of boredom, so I'm not sure how serious he really is. . . (he even sponsored a GoFundMe to impeach Trump in 2019)
https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/ma ... s?from=mdr
Robert Escobar thinks Elon Musk is an "imported little snake."
https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/222008-pab ... snake-news
It isn't so much that such grifters aren't known to be frauds, but rather they are actively encouraged to do more damage within such an incompetent administration and are protected (much as the New York Mayor had corruption investigations blocked now that Trump is in office.)
Judge cancels NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ trial and leaves corruption charges intact until mid-March
https://apnews.com/article/eric-adams-m ... 6e032381cf
I'm wondering if he and Escobar have some drug connection, if not Ketamine.
While he was on stage saying he was becoming a meme, I think he meant 'Ketameme'
And he attributes his "intelligence" to ketamine, which might as well be mania.
I found an article that focuses on him:
Ketamine, Dementia, and Intelligence - Can Ketamine Make You Smarter?
https://www.clarus-health.com/blog/keta ... ou-smarter
Not to mention that his advocacy and desire to legalize it will probably just mean that people won't get the safer prescribed stuff, and will in turn try to use it like Ivermectin (and end up killing themselves with it.)

Another thing worth pointing out is Argentina's leader who showed up next to the fucktard with the chainsaw.
https://www.filmsforaction.org/watch/ja ... oligarchs/
Along with the technofascist inspiration for people like JD Vance and the rest named, Curtis Yarvin who uses the pen name, Moldbuggery.

Musk has a contract to build something to deorbit the ISS in 2030, and knows perfectly well that the crew that has been temporarily stranded had planned since September to rendevous in March, but Musk wanted to create some snowball effect to draw attention to himself by pretending to be some savoir that gets money for rescuing them, when they already have a Dragon rocket attached to the China Space Station (or so it sounds like.) Because this should have been known and was politely reminded to Musk over Twit-turd, he decided to tell them they should immediately deorbit and when responded about the ongoing project he agreed to design for 2030, he tells them they should do it within the next 2 years.
Anyone that continues to support the fucktard Musk needs to hang themselves if they have other options.

I always thought this movie was intolerable, but I've never seen so much idiocy in government before. I mean we don't even have the luxury of being robbed by career politicians with fancy degrees anymore. A bumbling idiot will do. I don't care if every generation says the same thing - society really is getting stupider.
Re: What's going on in your city/country/region?
Mainly Trump is wreaking havoc. People need to chill out about his everyday crazy though. Politically, just smile and nod, and wait for his attention to turn to his next inane scheme. I think his narcissistic personality disorder just makes him compelled to create outrage on a daily basis.
A terrible side effect he has had on Canada is revitalizing the pathetic Liberal Party. Trudeau had finally f*cked things up so bad they were going to be decimated in the next election. Now since Trump is associated with the right, the Conservatives in Canada are getting painted with the same brush. Ridiculous, but people are stupid and can only see things in black and white.
At least the moronic Trudeau is out. I guess it's the best I can hope for in these crazy times.

US suspends offensive cyber operations against Russia, senior US official says
Trump is helping Russia influence the next presidential election.
and
The question no one dares ask: what if Britain has to defend itself from the US?
Political activist and The Guardian columnist George Monbiot says (about the UK) "...we should have followed France in creating more independent military and security systems. Disentangling from the US will be difficult and expensive. Failing to do so could carry a far higher price."
How much will congress and the courts help curb Trump? I hopefully won't stick around in the US long enough to see.

The same thoughts I was having; Europe and Canada will not be putting up with this shit.
This more than likely is true, though I had the impression from a screenshot claiming to be proof that Trump was photographed and was given the codename 'Krasnov' that it might have been a photo of an actual Russia, though i believe he is either an agent while married to Ivana, or he was blackmailed during his time in Russia (enough to where his already soiled reputation would be even more sullied?)
This video tends to gloss over the Krasnov claims though has a more grounded reasoning on the claims (I'm not sure this video isn't mostly AI. . .)
2hr 2018 documentary about Russian collusion and approach to undermine foreign governments like the US.
