I wouldn't be surprised if historians compare the toxic traits of MAGA to that of toxoplasmosis. When searching Google for a comparison, it compares the symptoms of an antacid called MAGA and that of the flu-like feeling of toxoplasmosis; and of course, as we know, MAGA is incapable of reasoning with things they find difficult to digest, which of course led up to COVID. Since this is the 2.0 version, it will probably get worse, and instead of what some hypothesize as 400,000 deaths due to Trump's blundering incompetence, it will be Mao Zedong levels of incompetence. The MAGA Revolution will lead to them lighting their bedsheets on fire with their tikitorches, until they can't hide from underneath them anymore.

The question no one dares ask: what if Britain has to defend itself from the US?

Political activist and The Guardian columnist George Monbiot says (about the UK) "...we should have followed France in creating more independent military and security systems. Disentangling from the US will be difficult and expensive. Failing to do so could carry a far higher price."

How much will congress and the courts help curb Trump? I hopefully won't stick around in the US long enough to see.
LOL they'd be boned immediately anyway. We are now vastly larger than them. No real point to even bother fighting. We pretty much took over their old empire after defending it for them in WWII. They'll be the 51st state. Canada will be the 52nd.

I meant to post this earlier but the site was freezing.

In Argentina, pensioners are protesting in front of Congress every Wednesday because their pensions don't begin to cover food and medical expenses. Personally I think the government is implementing a genocide of senior citizens. Anyway, since the fucking pack of traitors that are the unions have basically abandoned the pensioners (and everybody else) to getting savagely beaten up by police every Wednesday, various soccer clubs started calling out to their fans to support the pensioners on Wednesday. What happened was a savage repression (again), this time starting even before the time scheduled for the protest, within a 15-block radius from Congress, in which suspected protest-goers were randomly beaten and arrested. I should point out it is illegal to arrest someone you presume will commit a crime (protest?) on the basis of no evidence whatsoever. Also, a graphic reporter is in the ICU after receiving the impact of a gas canister which split his head open. These particular gas canisters prohibited by law until this govt took office and overturned that law.

In an unexpected break, all arrested protesters (over 100) were released on the order of a judge who based her decision on the democratic right to protest and the absence of any evidence of wrongdoing. To this, the government has responded with criminal charges against said protesters, including "sedition" and "criminal association". Also, they are claiming they will use footage of the protest to identify "hooligans" and ban them from entry into stadiums. So they are basically publicly announcing that they have conducted illegal intelligence ops on protesters.

I just want to say how proud I am and really just moved to tears when I see soccer fans all wearing different jerseys and locking arms on the frontlines of the pensioners' protest.

Image

Many of the soccer fans simply attended the protest holding a picture of Maradona, who was known to speak out in favor of pensioner rights.

'Elon Musk is not just a Nazi' (and why it matters.)

Musk Is Not Just a “Nazi”: Why It Matters.
It’s not name-calling. It’s not theoretical.
JIM STEWARTSON
MAR 17

I was asked in my weekly Zoom meeting to explain why it matters that Elon Musk is a “Nazi.” It was pointed out, correctly, that many people glaze over at the word — in much the same way that people glazed over at the word “Russia” for years. Many people are still left with the remnants of a long hoax portraying Musk as a “genius” and a “visionary” when he’s never invented anything but his own mythology. So, here’s my answer, as concisely as I can.

Elon Musk is not just a “Nazi.”

Elon Musk’s psychology is comparable to neo-Nazi mass murderers Anders Breivik, Brenton Tarrant, Patrick Crusius and Dylan Roof. He is a mentally ill, emotionally broken teenage boy committing mass violence in order to make the world safe for white people.

He won’t stop until millions are dead.

This isn’t name-calling, and it’s not theoretical. What he has already done with DOGE will kill countless people in countries we were helping with life-saving food and medicine. He didn’t do it to save money, he did it because he hates Black and brown people and he wants them to die, as fast as possible.

Elon Musk wants to destroy the social safety net in America so he can disempower and identify the ethnic groups he wants to imprison, enslave, and ultimately eliminate. He wants to incentivize white births because he’s terrified of being replaced himself, a condition he was born into as a son of apartheid South Africa. He’s fine with dismantling the health care system because the only people who will die from measles, in his mind, deserve it. It’s not just being a memelord, and it’s not just greed, it’s enacting national eugenics as policy.

Elon Musk was taught by his father that he is a special little boy born for greatness — destined to live out the dreams of great Nazi rocket scientists. And then his father abused and abandoned him, and married his half-sister. When Elon was required to go into the military, Errol Musk told his son to leave South Africa because he didn’t think Black people could run the government and was convinced everything would collapse. So, Elon went to Canada and quickly schemed his way into America with his father’s money.

His mother, Maye Musk, is a racist, detached sociopath who encouraged her son’s bullying, narcissism and megalomania and passed down her father’s imperial, technocratic dream of a North American Empire, his vicious racism and antisemitism, and his admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Elon Musk’s white supremacist upbringing, inherited wealth, and subsequent reliance on foreign governments and their proxies in America made him the perfect target for radicalization and usurpation. Seeing an opportunity to make his destiny come true, he made the decision in 2022 to “correct the course of civilization” by buying Twitter and systematically turning it into a full-throated Nazi indoctrination system, with no guardrails. And then he went into business with Vladimir Putin and the Saudis to buy the 2024 election.

He is fully committed to the destruction of western liberal democracy as a viable form of government because, as a psychopath, he cannot understand empathy, and finds the whole concept of human emotion, altruism and charity to be “inefficient” — and contrary to his desires to cleanse the world of those he finds unclean and unworthy. These are quintessential National Socialist “ideals”.

To obfuscate his genocidal desires, Musk has introduced concepts like “effective altruism” and “longtermism” which are how oligarchs say “I’m going to steal everything you own and spend it on things that I want, regardless of what you think and regardless who it hurts.” He obsessively promotes the concept of “suicidal empathy” to rationalize his own raging sadism.

The failure of the press and Silicon Valley to recognize his deeply homicidal worldview has led to monstrous, civilizational errors like giving an unaccountable racist foreigner the keys to our space program — after buying into his teenage science fiction fantasies of Mars that he lifted from Wernher von Braun, Hitler’s premier rocket scientist, who came to America during Operation Paperclip. It’s all a hoax to recreate humanity in his Musk’s own deviant image.

Elon Musk is a serial mass killer who is quite literally sitting on the floor of the West Wing with his gaming laptop hacking the US Government to make America more white, patriarchal and violent. He is a global security emergency who will absolutely try to use a nuclear weapon if he has the opportunity and feels that his power is being threatened. Every legal effort must be made to stop him. Right now.

Elon is not just a “Nazi”. As someone who has studied him for years, I promise you, if we let him, he will kill more people than the original did. That is why it matters.

Someone created a short video summarizing the main issue:

Elon just fired the entire US supply of agriculture seed reserves. What's happening with DOGE and the GOP is similar to the policy decisions made by Calvin Coolidge during the 1920s that very clearly lead to the Great Depression (and indirectly may have instigated FDR to establish a bigger government that would come to the aid of people, which helped prop up the economy even more after WW2 ended.)

An Economist by the name of Dr Steve Keen analyzes this time period:
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/54872.Steve_Keen

You can also read about what Calvin Coolidge did (which is basically deregulated and allowed banks to disrupt people's lives enough, that they could no longer contribute to society.)

Some of the same (though I suggest reading the comments which add more of the "human element" to what Elon Musk, et al the DUI hires are impacting.)

Also a bit weird:
Gene Hackman death: New footage reveals wife Betsy Arakawa feared she was being followed
https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medica ... 2#comments

I'm kind of speculating but from what I read:

When the Exterminator came by it was weeks after a scheduled visit (around the time that one of them would have answered the phone to arrange the visit.) Supposedly the large dog in the closet was placed their following a vet visit, and Gene Hackman would have been already "out of it" with his Alzheimer's progression, so when she died while stumbling for meds, he seemed to have been unable to get help or wasn't aware of what had happened to her (so when he eventually died a week or so afterwards it seems she would have been dead about 2 weeks and him 1 week.) As to why the front door was open could be anyone's guess, and it never made sense to me unless Gene Hackman might have opened it and was unaware of what happened to his wife, or simply decided to die given the circumstances without attempting to reach out to anyone?

I assume the front door was already open for weeks (and it must have been cracked open so when viewed from the street it wouldn't have been too noticeable, but also the neighborhood was a gated community and his house might have only been accessible by using a gate code (and I assumed a gate security guard might have been another aspect of it, though it seems they were kind of on their own, hence the article mentioning printed photos and asking them to sign them which are probably the same person that posted them to news outlets,) so when the guy had come by he saw enough to realize she was dead, and then called for the Police. Her getting Hentavirus would make sense in connection to her death and calling for an exterminator (though I normally expect such phone calls to have them come out much sooner than that, so it does seem a bit weird.)

In regards to the guy that followed them, photos from a fan or possibly paparazzi were posted online that correspond to the claims they were followed (given how little they are known to get outside, it wouldn't be too surprising that people recognized him and were excited to interact in some way.) I'm thinking she was so isolated that such a thing would have terrified her, and her contacting an exterminator would have been planned out 2 weeks in advance of the visit; which is kind of weird, but it would correspond to what happened with her dying from hentavirus, if she was trying to get rid of a mice and rodent problem (which is what causes that.) She probably found some poo and started to try and clean the area, and got exposed without realizing the dangers of it.)

Also her behavior in the article might suggest why the relatives had zero contact with them.

A Ukrainian Professor of Economics (living elsewhere) is acknowledging the evident propaganda nonsense (reframing lies as truths.)

https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=1159767379272426
Fox News Host Jesse Watters: “Being friendly to the world is what got us in this mess. We don't need friends…If we have to burn down a few bridges with Denmark to take Greenland. We’re big boys. We dropped a-bomb on Japan and now they are our top ally.” I have been following russian propaganda for three years in order to stay informed and understand how they spread fear and misinformation. Now, I see exactly the same rhetoric and tactics from Fox News. The U.S. is literally turning into russia.

Also covered here:
Jesse Watters: “If we have to burn down a few bridges with Denmark to take Greenland, we're big boys”
https://www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/j ... e-big-boys

I suspect the person who posted it wasn't promoting the viewpoints, as they were an Economics Professor with a pro-Ukraine flag on their profile.

When Japan attacked the USA, we retaliated and then used them as guinea pigs (in addition to Guam and US citizens) for radiation. Just because we pretend our bombing lead to relations that seemed optimistic temporarily, their are numerous examples when this isn't the case.

Everything has consequences, and if any country were to attack comparatively equal size cities to our own, as we did to Japan, you can bet we would be limping (and it wasn't just atomic bombs, but incendiary that did the most damage.)

The realization, of scarcity of fuel that we were supplying to Japan which they were using to continue ongoing war in Manchuria, made them decide to retaliate when we embargoed them, as they then perceived us as a potential threat they they could neutralize from across the ocean (even if they probably had no intention of doing a land invasion of mainland US territory.) The evident possibility that the US would do some D-Fck mistake of going into Canada or Greenland, is just asinine, and will incur NATO's wrath, as they would then perceive us as being no different from Putin.

That is how "negotiations" work.

*****************

When I first saw Pete Hegseth, he reminded me of this video. . . DUI hire, with hamburbers and covfefe.

With the Signalgate (which dumbass Trump seemed to not understand. . .) and the hypocrisy of claiming Hillary should be prosecuted for doing far less damage and violations, and was more just an embarrassment:

The dismantling of checks and balances are preventing accountability, and the people that live in their echo-chamber of bias don't see the similarities to populism and pathos, akin to the Austrian-German dude with the funny mustache.

And the current people calling themselves Conservatives are actually Neo-Liberals. . . Though they like to believe a duality exists from which they can go into memetic tribalism.

The sad reality is they could be getting schadenfreude over some Buddhist (people who don't believe in a supreme being) country all the while their own is shooting itself up; and yet they probably have more in common with those that do it. . .

A great "Conservative" country. . . One that is intentionally devaluing it's dollar and causing an inflationary collapse of the economy, just so more Plutocrats can maintain power and allow their mindless voter-base to exist vicarious through them while they patch the roof on their trailer. . . (or if they are one of the grifter ones, from their overpriced property they likely inherited through generational wealth, and believe from their blindsided midwit phenomenon perspective, that they are somehow the Lebensborn baby their Fuhrer promised their ancestors would become; the Ubermensh in some twisted understanding of Ayn Randian philosophy or Machiavelli.)

Regarding companies with DEI rollbacks vs those who kept diversity a consideration (a response to an image that won't upload due to HTTP error)

Costco had initially been rolling it back but turned cheek when it realized most of their consumers probably fall under the description of DEI (A lot of people bulk shop when their families live in the same household.) For awhile people were drumming up support for their initial reaction, but I think they realized that all these "improvements" and "git er done!" attitude aren't actually things people want, and that it will only give rednecks a bigger ego when they believe they can't get away with stuff without consequences.

And surprisingly a lot of people who I would normally expect to understand the huge blunders in geopolitical "soft skills," and who don't see the hypocrisy of the administration, don't seem to realize this isn't helping anyone. Either they realize their work culture is such a disgrace that they can't pretend to be inclusive if they tried, or they clearly don't have the more desirable appeal of a workforce from which they could actually hire the right kinds of people that fit those diversity quotas they're so afraid of.

I tend to think of it a bit like the problem with many institutions where they have a nasty reputation to diddy children, that they couldn't try to actually address the problem, otherwise their entire top-end of the organization would crumble? Sort of like how now instead of DEI you have people who most likely are obsessed with self-driving so that they can get as high as they want (which might explain why they know people who trafficked stuff, otherwise it seems strange they happened to be the son of Pablo Escobar and complained of how their 'Not a Flamethrower' design was stolen from them.)

And that left side of the list does represent the most despicable aspects of society, but I'm still not all that certain I understand their perspective, as I see equally reprehensible stuff in all corporations (and the only reason some of them probably don't prefer a looser regulation in hiring, is because they are such a massive company that it would be pretty difficult to enforce anything, unless they were absolutely certain it wouldn't backfire (or it's possible that the Peter Principle is alive and well and most companies would rather not think of themselves as incompetent, because Dunning-Kruger is just a fine pair-bonding.)
