So apparently a borax conspiracy to not consume it exists, and that claiming it's toxic is to keep people from acquiring boron which seems to quote a Dr. Rex Newnham, 1994 article, titled, 'Essentiality of Boron for Healthy Bones and Joints,' as being a contributing factor in reducing arthritis and osteoporosis.

Taking it a step forward you could suggest 'The Fifth Element' (which would be Boron on the periodic table,) movie was in on trying to reveal the conspiracy, and the B(M)oron conspiracists have been right all this time because everyone else hasn't realized all the "evidence" yet?

I kind of wonder if they were hoping to lure in publicity in order to sell it quickly, though it doesn't seem they could keep it open long enough, and various recent social media publicity seemed to not even get 200 views in some places (though maybe when it was on TV it did.)

The actual owner is highly educated, though it doesn't make any mention of his being a restaurant owner on this profile, though in another video he refers to himself as having a Doctorate. Since he recently retired, I'm wondering if closing the place was the final retirement.
