Little Rants
Re: Little Rants
This is a common trend and I've seen similar things happen with subcultures within some of the religious communities that share close ties to the MAGA groups, where the "Author/Minister/Leader" (I'm thinking of Kevin Zadai) self-publishes books (where he doesn't use an Editor because he claims he doesn't want his "message" to be tampered with and it slows him down) and hands them out in the hopes that other's will buy the $20 of junk that could fill a catalog of his toxic positivity books which seem like some AI randomized formula of New Age, not much different from Joel Osteen which I suspected they try to emulate. He would claim to have visions of the future of Trump getting reelected (which at the time he clearly didn't but then went on a TV broadcast where he was being asked and during that message claimed he was getting more messages. Half of the time these messages have clear cognitive dissonance and would contradict the actual Biblical teachings, and when telling the followers that these people clearly lie and know they lie, will completely deny it.

On the other hand you have theories that the McDonalds owner Ray Kroc was a Satanist and incorporated the logo of the arch as a gesture to Freemasonry, specifically with the Baal arch (which isn't a double arch, though you will find a McDonalds with the single arch. . . similar to the Gateway Arch monument in St. Louis which someone made a fictional reference to alluding as such https://www.worldanvil.com/w/earthruptu ... h-landmark )

Masonry does have a direct reference to Baal worship (perhaps why Royal Arch Masonry could be a reference, though they usually refer to bridge arches and not gateways.)

I have access to a free Paramount+ subscription (it was given away to Mint Mobile subscribers) and I plodded through the newer Star Trek series, and have 5 free months I have no intention of logging into the website. I was wanting to look through some of the earlier programs from MTV and the only thing shown is Beavis and Butthead, and whatever 90s shows like Southpark (which I don't believe was MTV but had a similar vibe) that will eventually transition over to the streaming platform.
I highly suspect the digital age will become a new dark ages of how information is processed, and some suspect that the introduction of AI will create a new interactive approach that will create an obsession with "new content," where people can have things catered to them on an immediate basis, and anything perceived as "old" or antiquated will just be erased and ignored if it can't be profited from. Being over-encumbered with data will create a society obsessed with artificiality and an assumption that tangible "wasteful" byproducts of an earlier age are in the way of "progress" and any effort expended in cataloging and archiving the past are relegated to the dustbins.
Whether or not they are retaining the analog stored recordings and various artifacts of that time, I would have to believe is more probable (and maybe they are doing something different from the news is reporting) because it seems too shortsighted they would just remove it completely and erase any idea of it's existence (it might be seen as a potential liability as it comes from an age when the idea of "Political Correctness" wasn't really mainstream,) and so it might clash with he audiences they are trying to appeal to.

I think a popularized version of Keynes seems to persist which ignores his warning about the printing of money, which gave Economists the idea that the ebb and flow of economic models are then offset by inflationary printing of money to curb, and the desire to assuage the "resets" of the economy; in-turn leads to the problems Keynes was hoping to avoid.
Though the model can be seen as beneficial in the short run, proponents of Hayek's supposedly more Socialized-fixed model, seem to believe the acknowledgment of inflationary growth would lead to greater instability and disparity of wealth, such as where corruption without the proper checks and balances, will lead to the errors most all systems of governing within economies and politics are prone to.
Self-interest motivators is something Hayek probably had a utopian dream of avoiding; hoping that a more stagnant and less credit-based system could provide a means of avoiding a "positive" feedback loop to the spenders of money, resulting in the kinds of problems Keynes was hoping to avoid with the Great Depression. A similar argument is made for any Communist or Socialistic system, that they have never truly been practiced because every time they are attempted anything like it, corrupt psychopathic leadership gravitates into position (and similar to any political system where such people can go practically unnoticed until it's too late. If AI were somehow given the reigns of power it similarly seems to echo the egoic qualities of humanity and might not be any better.

"The common voice of the Swiss universities" thinks the upside down "i"s make for a good logo. There are 8-9 million people in Switzerland, which is tiny compared to the US. That's gotta be it. Smaller talent pool. But still... if I moved there would I see dumb stuff like that on the regular?
Or am I alone here? I judge people and businesses on stuff like this.

Beats me, but that thing has a weird effect on my brain. I perceive as upside down (and therefor backwards) but then I realize I know what it says without reading it that way.

Supposedly a lot of websites are being targeted by (Polyfill.io) malware exploit (from Chinese hackers.)
When browsing Swanson, one of my extensions (web http) notified me of the exploit and blocked it, but many people aren't using malware extension trackers on their browser (so most won't even realize this is happening to the website.)
https://blog.qualys.com/vulnerabilities ... ain-attack
This seems to have just happened from a Chinese source about a week ago, where over 100,000 websites were targeted.
I don't know how to resolve it but I would check with cyber security experts.

I'm amazed how people seem oblivious to WHY (FUCKING "WHY") this stuff helps to eliminate cravings for alcohol, food, etc. and has a similar effect to how any stimulant gives a very short-term focus as the body adjusts to it by feeding itself an excess of neurotransmitters, where you then would need another "hit." It's kind of similar to the scam revolving around psilocybin and microdosing (which is probably much safer, but it's basically what replaced the CBD oil nonsense which has similar questionable benefits.)

“European” summers scammers on bumble are even more sneaky than the ones in northern southern california (L.A. & Co.). This girl that said was German living in London turned out to be Moroccan with real location in Turkey asked me to buy her a dress, reported and blocked, immediately.
