Little Rants
Re: Little Rants
Was watching Caddyshack (Harold Ramis, 1980) Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, Cindy Morgan
I knew about Cindy Morgan dying last year, but it gets pretty weird when the Wikipedia mentions she was last seen alive on the 19th and died on the 30th of December (from "natural causes," according to forensics?) but leading up to that date her social media posts ended on 25th (where what she was posting seemed rather odd and suspicious, as though someone was the cause of it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cindy_Morgan
https://www.facebook.com/officialcindymorgan/
Basically she was living in Florida with a roommate from social media posts (comments left on her Facebook with screen captures) who it seems is a man who might be the same one that was addicted to Percocet in another post where she references, "he will kill me when he finds out I mention this" (which if you google, it immediately pops up with a warning about the drugs addictive properties and "Help is Available" and references its other names as Oxycodone / Paracetamol?)
The Landlord of the house was trying to sell it off (hence the last time anyone saw her alive was on the 19th which would be the day after the posts bout the house showing), and was trying to keep the roommate living cooperatively, which it seems they weren't sufficiently covering the cost of rent.
I'm guessing the stress and anxiety from the landlord and other situations may have caused her to die younger than she would have otherwise, but it seems she may also have been surrounded by people that posed a risk? Some other actresses with a similar reputation as being "bombshells" ended up homeless and addicted to drugs (one of the Baywatch actresses.)
News article covering her death

What I find kind of odd is in the Wikipedia article it seems she refused to pose for Playboy despite being nude in Caddyshack? Though she probably made a decent amount from her early career (Tron was kind of a bomb though had a cult following,) it's listed that her net worth around the time of her death was $500,000 (and she would have continued various roles in TV and films after the 1980s) which I find strange that she didn't have some kind of investment in houses that could have sold for a decent amount (or even lived where it was cheaper, because places like Florida are overrated cesspools.)

I'm seeing some really odd stuff for sale on auto auctions, and I have to wonder if something happened to the vehicles, and perhaps some of that has to do with repossession (I've been seeing a ton of cars being jacked up and towed away, and I sometimes wonder if they have to track down such vehicles (and maybe a lot of them have GPS on them that gets sent to the tow trucks, or people comply after realizing they can't get away with it, such as appears to have happened with the vin sticker in this listing below.)
This auction should have completed already, as it was started a few months ago, and it seems as though the car has some major problems which caused it to be auctioned off by the insurance company (who seems to have considered the car a complete loss and took possession of it?) Porsche has some egregious reliability and safety issues with design flaws, such as a timing chain cam shaft bolt that comes lose and has been a problem in their earlier Panameras from a decade ago (here is a video of someone who acquired such a vehicle which had an option to have the dealership work on it for very cheap due to a recall,) and stuff like this still seems to be occurring. . . Car companies will try to avoid acknowledging design flaws if they figure people will overlook the issue until it becomes one.

A news broadcast about how coyotes cull the cat and other pet populations.
An orange cat would often show up in the backyard.
Apart from a vaccination collar with some bells added, and what seemed like a sufficient diet, it seemed mostly feral (as it would arrive almost daily consistently.) I hadn't seen it for some time and noticed some coyotes running through the neighborhood during the daytime. Not long after a Siberian gray cat has also not been seen (though that one might have been brought inside, for all I know.) Bobcats can also climb over fences and I've spotted them at night if I'm cycling through the area. Coyotes will move through areas and onto the next one, and if they have a den near homes you can occasionally hear them howl and occasionally recognize when someone's pet is doomed. . .
People really should keep the animals indoors (even though having them climb trees is good for cat psychology, it almost seemed like a premonition when I felt compelled to allow the orange cat inside when it was wanting to get in; only recognizing the way it was "curious" about a toy chihuahua that was half it's size which was slightly nervous about the cat; which I figured would not exactly be a good idea even if it might seem cute. . . as they like to climb trees in hopes of attacking birds. . . as well as attack the lizard or rodent populations, and was evidently hunched like a Savannah cheetah pouncing on prey until I glared at the creature; but it also puts them at risk when it gets into the freezing temperatures if they couldn't do much other than be the creature they are.
Even still, the birds can be rather brutal as well, and bluejays attack any other birds as can be witnessed when looking up at a nest, and distinctly I could hear the baby birds go silent while a female cardinal or robin could only remain on another tree branch looking on helplessly as the bluejays were having their way with being territorial, etc. Eventually, some weeks later the wind came and knocked about 4-5 out of their nests along with killing them from hail during a thunderstorm. . . . So perhaps nature is just cruel?
One blue jay did survive and has recently been seen around the area, but even a baby squirrel started to take up a place in the empty nest by flinging things from it (which might have been where the blue jays were tossed from if not from the wind?)
I'm now imagining the South Park episode of Woodland Critter Christmas (don't watch it if you have never seen it before. . . Trust me. . . ) which you can find on Vimeo (though seriously, it might be too much.)
https://vimeo.com/490554292
PS: What really pisses me off is I tried to contact the vet that would have issued that collar and received no response about who the cat might have belonged to, as it was coming up on a cold weather, and I don't know who was caring for it. It's as if anything that doesn't assume profit for them is immediately ignored, or it's just general incompetence (and when things like this occur I would generally want to leave negative reviews, but I can't be sure why they wouldn't even bother giving even a basic response.)

Re: Little Rants
What a PITA to vote. I think I spent an hour looking up polling place, a mailbox, my district, etc., just to ask for a mail-in ballot. At least I got to use my new gray market Parker blue ink pen. I remember hearing that you should always use black ink for important stuff. Maybe that was the old days. Now it sounds like blue is better for important things. I could have used black for this though.
Did it ever cross your mind that the person running for any federal office is always like the millionth best person for the job? Not that I know who's better, but if it was test based and everyone took the test, even if you include dumb stuff like being a good speaker, the person elected would never the close to the best for the job.
I bet every democrat president is responsible for deaths of people who would have survived under a republican president, and vise versa. It would be interesting to see a report that lists the estimated number of people that died under each president that wouldn't have died if the election went the other way.

Don’t get a “puppy” if you can’t keep and love a dog for its lifetime. No fucken excuses!

On another note, my dog might be close to dying, but the health problems didn't occur until recently, and I suspect idiocy of relatives are to blame (general neglect and glib indifference/obliviousness or lack of empathy and awareness; the type that you want complete reassurance that they actually comprehend something but you will always find them lacking even when they should be in a position to know better; ergo experience and knowledge doesn't come from schooling or remaining in a perpetual state of mediocrity and enabling of stupid behavior.)
Update: the same dumb fuck that gave the dog pancreatitis years prior, most likely fed the animal dumb retard human food (since the condition only reappeared upon their visit.,) It's possible that the dog's change in dog food could cause something like it, but the symptoms only emerged, much as if someone gave the dog a debilitating drug (in this case, retard food) which caused debilitating side-effects overnight.
The FreshPet dogfood might have given her pancreatitis (or at the very least, had been associated with salmonella exposure, which is why it had been recalled in the past.) She had only been starting on that about 2 weeks prior, where it was combined with a roasted chicken mixed with vegetables like carrot or green beans. Since the dog food was new she would pick it out from the chicken, and only would eat chicken when given to her after starting to refuse food altogether (because she was getting sick from food; whether this was the result of some other thing like junk food, or eating behavior changes--such as now being forced to only eat in the evening since eating earlier in the day (since she would generally not feel compelled to go to the bathroom and might not realize I wasn't around to let her out during the day, as she was used to, and learned to adapt by not eating anything in the bowl, which had to be served fresh) would make her go to the bathroom when no one was around to let her out since eating all at once rather than paced throughout the day can be worse for the pancreas.

I wonder if the "Absorber" get's filled up when the printer never get's used? I've been needing to take it apart to find out, but I just took the ink head assembly out and sprayed it and used air pressure to purge it through, which is when this error code showed up (as last time I used the printer.)
opt
Update: when the ink moves to the middle, wipe down (through multiple paper towels dampened) both sides of the absorbor pad, where the 'wipers' clear chunky dried ink residue. Press down and slide the wiper over the absorber (the mechanism that makes that clunky sound when cycling through the beginning) to test it's movement. Reseating the ink head assembly after spraying sanitizer throug seems to clear it on the second attempt once blowing air through it, which eventually restored function.

Regarding social conditioning and societal entrapments through things like marriage/career/institutions:
It seems as though society produces codependency (with the perpetuation of social institutions supplanted by need for acceptance, for and by a reward identifiers,) in which people seek validation by the ideals they have been conditioned to experience by an adaptive opperant conditioning. Either people are trauma bonded (through social identifiers and cultural tropes) to a socially beneficial paradigm that tends to create a fear-based reaction to those that are outliers to normative expectations, and which people gravitate towards an exploitative 'need' for whatever perpetuates the sense of "progress," even if based on no other purpose than to conform to an "equilibrium."

I just finished up a 3k bill for 3 days of ICU for my 5 year old dog after eating Freshpet. My dog is a licensed facility dog (I work in psychiatry) and avid frisbee player. In short, he is super healthy, assessed for health more frequently than my pets (because he has professional liability insurance), and extremely spoiled with high quality dog food. One split second decision in Target of "lets try a small bag of this dog food" to add as a different topper to their usual kibble, bone broth, fresh veggies, and wet food mixture (the Freshet would sub out the wet) - changed everything. In 4 days and 4 meals (of not full FreshPet portions) my dog had bilious vomiting and was in noticeable pain. At the ER they immediately began a poison protocol treatment. Because of typical dog behavior, the vet said that it would likely be difficult to track down what exactly he "got into." Mind you, my dog is not a "get into things" kind of dog. More so, he has a GPS tracking collar AND I have external/internal cameras. I literally tracked his movement for 48hours prior to the rapid decompensation in health and found nothing - Freshpet was the ONLY outlier. All of the xrays, bloodwork, ultrasounds, and other tests could only identify pancreatitis and failing liver and kidney issues. The vet explained why there are soooo many reports of pancreatic/liver issues with Freshpet, but no concrete reports or studies. First, vets overwhelmingly DO NOT RECOMMEND this food. Most don't weight too much on types of food in general because they are aware of constraints of owners, but apparently this food is ubiquitously hated in the veterinarian community. Its high in fat and has notable limitations with controlling spoilage (due to being refrigerated and shipped to large retailers who do not have internal protocols of what is done to the food upon receipt - outside of expiration dates). Second, is that the method of detecting outbreaks in food-borne illness and issues with animals is VASTLY different then that of humans. Given the inability for dogs to accurately report what they have ingested (or any owner to know with 100% surety), in conjunction with limitations on veterinarians to conclusively point to a single culprit, added with the fact that food is never tested in these reported cases, plus poor governmental oversight on animal feed, AS WELL AS how most recalls are voluntary (such as Freshpets previous recall for Salmonella), it really prohibits owners ability to find accurate knowledge on if a food is really safe or not.
The explanation from multiple veterinary specialists that worked on him was that that dog in particular (as my others showed no issues), was that his system has been running like a formula one car with the best octane fuel and then I went and gave him this "trash" (their words, not mine) which spun his systems out of control. They guessed that his pancreas/liver started to work overtime to filter out what his body was seeing as a literal poison. Also, since his is only 25lbs, the bilious vomiting caused extreme dehydration would lead to the rapid failure of his organs.
I'm so sorry Jackie for what you went through and I recognize how blessed I am that my dog has pulled through (albeit, we don't know the extent of the long term damage/complications yet). I too have come across dozens of eerily similar symptoms and stories on the internet (they required a lot of digging around). I only found this thread in my fruitless efforts to get the word out to other owners!

The counter should now be reset, and the printer should return to the regular menu. Resetting the counter does not empty the ink tank. If the absorber is not cleaned or replaced, it will eventually overflow.
Turn off the printer
Press and hold the Resume button
While holding the Resume button, press and hold the Power button
Release the Resume button while still holding the Power button
Click the Resume button twice while still holding the Power button
Release both buttons
Click Resume four times
Immediately press Power
Turn the printer off and then back on
The counter should now be reset, and the printer should return to the regular menu. Resetting the counter does not empty the ink tank. If the absorber is not cleaned or replaced, it will eventually overflow.

I went through all kinds of problems trying to download my Facebook posts, then I discover that it doesn't include posts to groups, unless I did something wrong. And Facebook's search feature doesn't seem to show the actual post within a thread that contains the term. It just shows the OP. The post containing the term may be minimized somewhere deep within the thread.

Pretty much the "obvious" but since we are talking about the vast majority of people. . . Sadly, it isn't.

Re: Little Rants
It looks like, in order to get an atomic (self-setting) alarm clock that lets you set alarms for specified days of the week, I have to get a Chinese brand that plays a Chinese tune as the alarm with no other sound option and doesn't have a battery backup, plus, since battery backup is a requirement of mine, I'd need a UPS. Or else a tablet with a calendar app, which would have a camera that I'd have to remove because I wouldn't want to risk it being hijacked and me being watched and heard whenever I'm home. I don't want to keep using my phone for this. Having the phone on the nightstand makes me forget to take it with me, plus I don't want to be woken from a call. Can I turn off call ringing and keep on the calendar app which has my alarm? IDK, but sometimes I may want to hear the ring before I leave. I want the phone off overnight and on, with ringing enabled, when I wake up and turn it on.

Is there something in Islam about bad people being turned into some weird creature? Muslims don't seem to like these type filters.
