Out most successful Com games ever, lead out by the cyclists who were a gift that kept on giving... (compared to all the ball bouncer teams who mostly crapped out).

They were just talking on the radio about how awesome the Brummie crowds were...

Must be what being like a big country at the Olympics is like.

Truck driver charged in the deaths of 7 motorcycle riders in NH found not guilty on all charges
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/jur ... 14619.html

The heroin, fentanyl and cocaine he took that day did not play a factor. . .

A nurse considered unstable and responsible for a dozen accidents over a decade killed a similar number, though perhaps because she ran a red light and was driving 90mph, it might have shown direct accountability.

Real Winner (person's name) responsible for revealing classified document of Russian hacking collusion, for putting Trump in office, received 4 years jail time, while Trump knowingly handed Russians classified documents directly while they visited him in the White House.

Is it not more obvious?

People are supposed to kill the spotted lanternfly in my area but I saw four of them and I'm not. They eat fruit. So do I. That just helps me relate. Farmers should put up netting and buy some pollenating insects to put under the netting so the lanternflies will eventually migrate to wild food sources. Or something. Anyway, it's not my job. They have no natural predators here. I guess in China, where they came from, they do. I wonder what they are. Maybe we should import their predators.

In other news, Finnish Matti Nikenen, Olympic long jump skier, just died.

Amongst his accomplishments:
'At the age of 14, he became an alcoholic. He was a stripper, starred in adult films, and then became the greatest jumper in history'

A tribe of people in Brazil who were never studied are officially extinct (due to genocide and seclusion.)

(translated) The “Indian of the Hole” dies; man who lived alone for almost 30 years because he was the last of his ethnicity
https://www.jornalciencia.com/morre-o-i ... sua-etnia/

The body was found in Rondônia by the National Indian Foundation (Funai) which, despite following him from a distance, never knew his name. He lived alone after farmers decimated his people

Similar to what happened to Ishi, in California (died in early 1900s,) though incidentally, he wasn't the last of his tribe, since similar descendants lived further away from him.)

Pygmies were genocided as well more recently:

I'm not sure if all these are still a thing... but at a social gathering you might be asked to "bring a plate"... This means bringing a plate with something on it. The things that go on it are often a selection of the following (I remember Honeycyclical going a bit gaga over Lamingtons). Cream out a can would get you deported...

A south Dallas airport air show crash (could have easily been avoideed.)

‘Terrible tragedy in our city’: Planes crash during air show at Dallas Executive Airport

One of the pilots was retiring after this flight. . . Seems it wasn't the way he wanted it. About 6 are believed to be killed.

This was one of the planes:
