The Power of Love, Marcia Ball

I didn't hear this live performance yet but I heard the song on the radio and I bet it's good live too.

People seem to really like Phil Dragash's audiobook readings

Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Soundscape by Phil Dragash

Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers - Phil Dragash

Lord of The Rings: The Return of the King - Soundscape by Phil Dragash

*************

Music by Howard Shore - The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King

And of course BBC has one as well (which is the only one I've listened to when I had a cd audio collection.)

It's funny to think 23 years ago when this was released the song amounted to an arch joke rather than a herald of the madness that is 2023.

5 1/2 techno/lounge music released on the day of this post

DNA Lounge: Spectrum (2023-03-25d)

I'm not sure what the DNA is a reference to if it was a live event, though perhaps it's best not to know.

I searched for Jackie Wilson's To Be Loved and I found Adelle's unrelated song from over a year ago. I like people's reaction videos to her at home version. I spent so much time watching them that I didn't hear the studio version yet.

Some better copies of this probably exist (I'll update it if I find one.) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066580/

Better file: https://ia803409.us.archive.org/9/items ... .Music.mp4

The footage would have probably been from 1969.

This seems to have been a more recent re-release

The woman ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monika_Dannemann ) was the last person with Jimi Hendrix (who apparently was out partying until 1:40 AM after taking barbiturates, and upon returning home took 9 sleeping pills--whether she acknowledges this or didn't want to admit she knew he took them--that she had after talking with her for 5 hours) claims in this video she believes he was murdered (basing on some conspiracy that the bassists that performs with Hendrix was shot at, and that their was some racisms against him?) Though people that listen to her interviews claim she is inconsistent. My guess, if you look at Hendrix's behavior, it's his own negligence and stupidity, and addiction prone behavior, that lead to his own death. She might have noticed what he was doing and got him help before the barbiturates set in, but it's likely that in those 5 hours she was with him in the morning, it was already taking effect. This interview was probably taken sometimes in 1973 around the same time as Bruce Lee died from a similar cocktail of drugs (though he was trying to be more responsible than Hendrix and wasn't using them recreationally.)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimi_Hendrix

Before he was famous he would spend the equivalent today of several thousands of dollars, mostly handing out his savings from the army, at a bar. He sought approval and recognition, and had a lot of pressure, which was a toxic component with the care-free attitude of the time period (or "hippy culture".) Many musicians would get swept up in the time period and their personalities and performance changed as a result.
