Here's 80s comedian Robert Klein doing a Harptones song.

In high school - when I was bulging with hopes and dreams of being an entertainer - I played both alto and baritone saxophones. Takes me back...

I read that the saxophone is the best wind instrument (range of notes and whatever) but it's not used in orchestras because there's not much orchestral music written for it. There's some story behind it that I forgot. I was wondering what wind instrument I'd play if I had to choose and I still don't know but it would probably be the sax. I like virtuosic stuff. But piano would be my first choice of instrument.

I feel like these types of songs might not come back.

Alright, I'm having a hard time believing it's been 20 years since this came out. Have I posted this before? I'm having a weird sort of deja vu from when this popped in my rotation recently. Seriously, 20 years?! That can't be right?? What an overhyped album this turned out to be. I thought it went from Meh to forgettable. When I heard Caramel on the radio or saw the video I was surprised it was on the same album cuz nothing I heard before was all that catchy. "Five-five with brown eyes, smile like the sunrise" would be a whole lot more enduring if it was singing about a girl rather than the girl singing about herself. Still, it's kinda angelic.

EDIT: I've always hated the Eve rap remix.
