I went to a highschool where you weren't allowed to date (at all... if you were found to be dating you could be expelled), so we had a 'spring formal' instead of prom.

Senior year, I wanted to go see Soul Coughing in person in Chicago, but my parents made me go to fake prom.

Today I'm mourning never seeing Soul Coughing in person, and instead awkward dancing with random boys who said such weird things as 'don't be afraid to dance with me' and 'you look upset but I'd really like to dance with you.'

I am neither afraid nor upset, I am bored and missing out on seeing Soul Coughing with my best friend (and, I retrospectively realize, my huge crush).

I think I found the soundtrack for Thanksgiving.

This was great btw. Dude is killing it.

I really enjoy watching all the talent competition videos. NGL I do like watching the really terrible ones sometimes, I think because the self-delusion and entitlement fascinate me. But, more often I like watching the ones where people just absolutely smash it out of the park.
