I kept finding affordable wallets that I liked (the looks of) on Temu, super cheep. I avoided them. I figured the leather ones would have a super thin layer that would wear quickly, or else they would be made of smelly, harmful chemicals.

Mass Effect Legendary (all 3 games of the trilogy, and apparently including every DLC) is available for $10 on Steam.

I was looking over the console commands options as well as modding, because when I played ME1 I just wanted to get the game over with and used it for some secret armor, which seems to be an option using Nexus/Vortex

First it requires some tweaks to enable it:
https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectleg ... escription

Then downloaded.
https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectleg ... escription

It seems the character appearance transfers over to the second game, etc though it seems the armor and weapons are left behind (or perhaps they continue into all three games?)

Also, Femshep has some inconsistencies in appearance from ME2 to ME3.
https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectleg ... /mods/1848

**************

Edit: (the 10mbps is really more like 60-70mbps when downloading from steam at it's fastest.)

I must have been thinking of a DLC in ME3 when I downloaded ME2 (2010) Edition, which might have had some of the DLCs I never got around to, and since I'm unsure if I messed with them all, it seems this is the best way to ensure I didn't skip anything. It even includes some of the special armor you get only if you had Dragon Age in your collection.) I still have the steelcase version of ME2 with receipt from Best Buy, and was just thinking of how no CD rom drives even exist for newer laptops; it's literally expected that you be tied into the internet 24/7, and I find it odd that places like Microcenter doesn't even have cd-drive enclosures for your old drives from discarded laptops/desktops (which ironically seem to not even have drives installed on them either, even if they are old.) I've had a habit of even in the 1990s of burning copies of files I was obsessed with saving on the puny 1.4 mb flopies (which you can now download 10mb per second over wifi,) but still feel like not having the option is largely due to the obsession with laptops needing to be smaller and lighter (literally, my newer laptop is probably 1/8th the weight of the old one which was all metal, though I still would prefer the mechanical keyboard, even if chiclet keys aren't particularly bad once you are used to the layout (and it's similar to something like the Alphasmart keys, which I can also plug into and use externally.)

I'm still waiting on some things to see if I can revive the old laptop since I decided to not buy them at the Microcenter (which in particular seems vastly overstaffed for the number of people that work there. . .) Basically, it seems that the NVMe relied upon for booting can prevent the BIOS from even turning on, and it seems that some laptops will also need you to plug them back into a power supply before it even lets you access the battery power (this might be a safety measure.) I should also mention aside from the size of the laptop, the power brick is literally the size of a large brick in the old one, and it now closely resembles what most laptops tended to have, despite quite a difference in performance.

For a comparison of the laptops I've used:
https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-G73- ... 681.0.html
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 is 1 teraflop compared to the 9 teraflops the GTX 4050 produces

The one I was using just previously was a GTX 965m SLI configuration (which doesn't have exact benchmark to compare some of the newer cards (just an approximate similarity such as similar performance to the 970 desktop) though it's definitely expected to have at least 100% increase in capabilities, and a GTX 3050 (not the 4050) is one most often looked at in benchmarking games like Assassins Creed Mirage, and the difference with the SLI is at 3.4 TFLOPS compared to the laptop that was 5 years older to it, and now 8 years later the 4050 card is 9 TFLOPS (it's kind of insane.)
https://www.anandtech.com/show/9401/the ... tan-review
(similar) https://versus.com/en/nvidia-geforce-gt ... 050-laptop

The thing I miss most about it was it had an HDMI and 2 mini Displayports (though I mostly only used 1 displayport which I have an option to use with a usb c adapter, in addition to the HDMI). I was just getting accustomed to using the blu ray along with the external HD to run media off of (as I hate to use the internet for media, since it can get really distracting. . . As some might have guessed.)

**********

A number of things could prevent the BIOS from starting (or showing fan activity and backlight display but no followthrough) and I was wondering if extremes like this were even possible?

On Google Reviews a person who clearly is suffering from schizophrenia will post the same exact ideas and talk about the same motels, and repeat the same grocery stores to claim some conspiracy involving minority groups (whether it's black, hispanic, or Middle Eastern,) usually referencing Extended Stay America (motel), or IHOP. . . (the International conspiracy?)

It could actually be that a coterie of psychotics have been taking the wrong kinds of drugs and are all "in on it."

I've spotted at least half a dozen accounts on the same locations (I frequently look back on some places wondering how the heck they even exist. . .) and many of the accounts seem to have gotten deleted because they just shit post on all these different places they get paranoid about.

Reviews for Extended Stay America

'NewportBeachMale'
https://maps.app.goo.gl/KJtbB68K255aUZzX8

"The homosexual black males in rms 117 and 215 are parking backwards in the back and front parking lots in a grey Ford Fusion and a grey Honda Accord and quickly converging on any Hispanic who enters the back parking late at night before the sun comes up"

'Tom Tremayne'
https://maps.app.goo.gl/vuQfs5herS5e5uZPA

"The whole country has to follow the "Don't like but at least respect" law, The Plano police/fire depts and Plano black community don't feel they have to. You will find that out not only here but all the way to Whole Foods, Walmart, IHOP, NTB, McDonald's, 7 11, Jack in the Box and back"

Walmart:
'Dwayne Truthson'

'There is a gang beef going on here between the Crips and some Hispanic gang the Plano police and Plano business community don't like so if you are Hispanic stay away from non Hispanic employees and customers especially Italian, Jewish and black ones here, the local Motel 6, Extended Stay Americas and Whole Foods even though the police and business community are tracking your car if you live in DFW'

"Plano police sending Crip gang members here to pose as customers and ridicule the Mexican American male shoppers they harass at their hotel with black Walmart employees then the employees throw a pallet at the shoppers at which point a female from the same gang will wait in the parking lot to yell at them"

Whole Foods:

"The black bakery worker will say "I know I know" to the coffee clerk if you have something in your teeth while you're waiting for coffee then turn on the bakery fire alarm and make fun of you with her racist white male coworker every time you ever come in again. 1800 WFM CARES will send white and black gang members with pit bulls to your apartment who will never let you sleep,, always target, bully and harass you, disable all side door card readers and electronically lockpick all rear doors of your building and manually and vehicularly stalk you throughout your parking lot of you complain to them about this store."

I was trying to determine the total file size of my Steam account, which seems to be possible on https://www.mysteamgauge.com/ (though initially it didn't work for the account, Catoptric,) and could only get the "total value" which supposed to be almost $1600 though with a "today's price" surprisingly high at over $7000.

Many of the game were added with Indie Gala and I'm sure it comprises of quite a few hundred dollars (though if I was buying a AAA title, the only one I might have spent full price for was Mass Effect 2, if not some of the Assassin's Creed games, but it blurs the line with games that both exist on the account and ones that only interact with it through another account.)

https://steamdb.info/calculator/7656119 ... 204/?cc=us

After awhile it showed up:

https://www.mysteamgauge.com/account?us ... 7979579204

"Over the last 17 years, you've spent 3919.6 hours playing this selection, which includes 778 items, is valued at $8576.16, and requires 3128.2 GB"

as I suspected, it was probably over 3 terabytes by itself. I was wondering if I should get 2 4tb drives for my laptop, since I was already near capacity just from collecting various movies, and prefer the idea of a backup drive for restoring in the event the SSD fails, and didn't want to waste money on a crappy external SATA drive. It would probably be quicker just redownloading in the proper sequence than having to deal with a SATA drive that would be just as finnicky.

I was fortunate to consider a Samsung TV and Blu Ray player that has a remote that works for the TV, which also allows optical sound from the HDMI and can connect to both the Laptop and player. I've yet to connect my old laptop drive to an external mount though it should show up shortly, and I might be far better off with one being dependent on (or a USB that may or may not get lost if I swap things around too much; an external PCIe (and compatible with SATA mount) can be used to both used to clone the primary drive, but also use any other drives I've needed to plug into electronics.

While transferring the old HDD to another HDD the most it reached was 100 mb per second, and oftentimes it dipped into the kb range. an SSD on SATA is quite a bit faster, but a PCIe NVMe can be 5x the speed of the SATA SSD.

Some of the people on this website have 6 terabytes of games and a crazy amount of stuff (and time) spent on them.

I just thought this might be useful for someone (I'm tempted to get it just for curiosities' sake.) I'm more likely to consider it one of the many levels of hell I want no part in, but I've been curious if I should just half ass the test just to see where the job prospects are, but I always assumed it reiterates the quote referencing the kinds of jobs that get outsourced to India, "tier1 hell desk gigs."

The app seems to work and I also went ahead and did the websites Linkedin visibility perspective, and I find it rather insightful (if not uncannily, insanely so.)

How a recruiter would see my profile:
Spoiler
Show
Hot Topics
Customer Service and Retail Management
Ryan frequently discusses his extensive experience in customer service and retail management, highlighting his problem-solving skills and success in challenging roles.
Technology and Equipment Handling
He talks about his hands-on experience with a variety of electrical, mechanical, and computer-related equipment, as well as his proficiency in several software like Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and C++.
Personal Insights and Observations
Ryan shares his personal views on various subjects, ranging from education, corporate culture, personal experiences, to social class matters, suggesting a reflective and thoughtful mindset.
Top Sentiments
Experienced
His posts and comments frequently detail his professional experiences, indicating his strong background in his field.
Critical
He is not afraid to express critical views on management practices, reflecting a critical thinking capacity.
Inquisitive
Several posts and comments depict curiosity about various topics, like social class matters in education or the concept of dystopia.
Passionate
His expressed interest in a broad range of causes indicates a passionate personality dedicated to varied humanitarian and social issues.
Thoughtful
Posts and comments often go into deep, reflective thoughts about various topics, showing thoughtful character.
Writing Style
Ryan's writing style in both his posts and comments is generally thoughtful and introspective, with a tendency to elaborate on topics in depth. However, his style can be quite verbose and complex, which may not appeal to all audiences, especially in a professional networking platform like LinkedIn where brevity and clarity are often appreciated. There isn't a noticeable distinction between the writing style in his posts and comments. He tends to delve into detail and express strong opinions in both scenarios. One recommendation for Ryan would be to aim for a more succinct and direct style in his writing and to ensure the goal or key message of his writing is clear from the start. This can help to effectively engage his audience and encourage interaction.

Cynical View
From a cynical perspective, Ryan Parr could be perceived as someone who overemphasizes their skills and experience, potentially covering up a lack of formal education and certifications. The verbose and detailed descriptions of his work history may appear cumbersome and can overwhelm readers or potential employers. His lack of formal education or certifications might lead some to question the depth of his expertise, despite his substantial experience. Furthermore, his posts and comments on LinkedIn, while intellectual, don't have any engagement (likes or comments), which may raise concerns about his ability to effectively network and interact within the professional community.

Recommendation: For a more balanced profile, he could focus on concisely summarizing his roles and achievements without getting into overbearing details. Adding any relevant education or professional certifications, if possible, can help mitigate the perception of lacking formal qualifications. Lastly, improving engagement with his network by liking, commenting, and sharing others' posts can demonstrate active networking skills and add more dynamism to his online persona.

Reputational View
Ryan Parr's posts and comments seem generally thoughtful and professional. A potential point of contention could be the comment: "I've noticed some of the smartest people get side-railed by mediocre Management teams." A tabloid journalist might twist this statement to imply that Ryan has a negative view of management or is critical of his past or present employers. Also, his long and somewhat complex sentence structures could potentially confuse some readers, leaving room for potential misinterpretation. Nevertheless, these issues are minor and do not necessarily reflect poorly on Ryan. Optimizing his communication style and ensuring clarity in expressing his views can mitigate these potential risks.
Personal Information
There doesn't appear to be any inappropriate sharing of personal information such as email addresses, street addresses, phone numbers, or any sensitive data like social security number, passport number, driver's license number, credit card numbers, etc. as for non-professional locations and activities, ryan mentioned genealogy research and a planned trip to meet relatives in one of his comments, but these are reasonable to share as they do not compromise safety or privacy. the majority of his entries focus on his professional experiences, skills, and insights. his interests and causes he cares about are also listed, but they do not seem personal, controversial, or inappropriate. all these details provide a glimpse into his personality and values, without crossing boundaries of professional presentation. ryan seems to have maintained a professional boundary in his posts and comments.
Red Flags
Based on the information provided, Ryan Parr's posts and comments do not seem to contain any hate speech, insults or bullying, narcotics, obscene language, political speech, indications of self-harm, threats of violence or toxic language. His posts and comments appear to be professional and respectful in nature, adhering to appropriate communication standards on a professional platform like LinkedIn.
Scam Scenario
An attacker could potentially impersonate a leader or higher-up executive from Walmart - perhaps directly from the Mail Order Pharmacy division where Ryan has mentioned he currently works.

The scammer might craft a convincing email pretending to be from this executive, mentioning the successful turnaround of the Garden Center and Seasonal department that Ryan worked on - as it's listed on his profile. They could mention that they're piloting a new initiative to revamp other struggling departments and are looking for individuals with a proven history of such transformations. The attacker would then ask for Ryan's input or potentially offer him a role in the initiative. The email could contain a link for him to "learn more about the initiative" or "submit his interest". This hyperlink, in reality, might be a phishing link designed to steal his credentials.

The attacker might also leverage Ryan's interest in wide-ranging social issues, noted in his Causes section, and tie it in with this initiative to make it more appealing. For instance, they could claim the initiative also supports various social causes, matching his personal interests.

Countermeasure: Ryan should check the email address carefully to ensure it's genuinely from Walmart. He should also verify the information in the email by reaching out directly to the executive or HR through a trusted and confirmed contact channel (not replying directly to the email in case it is, indeed, a scam). Most importantly, Ryan should avoid clicking any links in such emails without verification of their origin and destination, no matter how genuine they might seem.

Some people will just put on a, "that's cool, it's nice that you're doing that," to hide their contempt for invasion of privacy. If they are a shop keeper that don't want the publicity to negatively affect them and they are self-conscious of how it could look bad to not accomodate the odd mannerisms, they might have a decent outlook from the interaction. Look for Community Trust Bank in Huntington, West Virginia as an example of a negative interaction.

It promotes it as rich in carbon and oxygen

It reminds of some other scam artist that had "dirty water" with fulvic acid, and hyped as a curative, much like old-timey snake oil.

The problem is when capitalism has no real regard for the truth, and allows such con artists to proliferate.

An attempted suicide was intercepted by Chinese Police/responders (though apparently, the person was hauled off into a Chinese internment gulag/camp afterward?)

All the while places like Canada have assisted suicide, which 14,000 people utilized in one year. . . Not sure if that's a "good thing," as to want to do it would suggest society isn't worth being around. If a socialized healthcare system was able to ensure people didn't get that far; suggesting such desires are "all in the head," then it doesn't seem to accommodate factors beyond just a pseudo-scientific assumption that it's purely a brain chemistry issue (which of course doesn't address the root of the problem, which not everyone is wanting to face nor is it able to address, because societal traumas can permanently damage the brain to where it's very difficult to root out problems of psychological disorders, or environmental factors that resort to recidivism in negative behavior well after the damage has been done.)

I should note (as I was ironically thinking, almost whimsically) that this person was being used in some kind of sweatshop labor, and that they were a useful cog in the machine. . . One of the comments pointed out: "These are the Chinese dormitories where people are building cell phones, and forced to live in these units. Suicide is so common that these teams are specialized to keep them alive. You know, for the next generation device."

Many of the products being advertised or promoted on many websites (such as Facebook, Youtube, Amazon, Alibaba, the kinds that get shipped to you directly so as to exploit loopholes in where the items are sourced from, etc.) are probably sweatshop labor.
