He seems to have legitimately disappeared while in Valemont, British Columbia, though what he saw was the antenna that was part of a complex on top of a mountain (I think the 'Photo Sphere' is just a smartphone rig and not the name of the complex) and it seems like he knew perfectly well what he saw, but chose to use it as a viral attention seeking platform.
In Brazil, someone was faking their own disappearance in the hopes that they would publish a book of philosophy about their ideas of an alien UFO presence on Earth, and this could just be some kind of elaborate attempt to win people's attention, or perhaps the guy was hoping to make the video more viral and it ended up backfiring spectacularly (perhaps the antenna he photographed and hoped to explore was part of some government defense system and he was being a dumb ass?
When he was recording the mountain and claiming it disappeared, did he intentionally film the wrong mountain; and why, if he was actually asking the locals about it, could they not have told him to shut the fuck up because he was stupid?

If using the Sega Model 3 UI (which seems to have issues with video) to launch, only run in Legacy (don't run in 'New 3D Engine' since it has compatibility issues,) and if changing the resolution, do so from the STAR_WARS_TRILOGY_ARCADE (.bat/Batch) file
You can adjust the speed:
Open 'Config' folder and open the file Supermodel.ini with notepad. Scroll to the bottom to find the setting for Throttle, set it to Throttle=1 and save the file (this is already done, but the original setting is 0, and yet it still runs too fast compared to the original hardware, though I've noticed that adjusting the resolution to a higher one in the STAR_WARS_TRILOGY_ARCADE (batch/.bat) file seems to make it run at a slower speed, and since the default is 1024x768, it also affects the mouse cursor movement quite a bit too if you don't change it.) Only dragging and dropping into the Supermodel exe seems to allow the video sequences to run (and it must run in Legacy by dragging and dropping since it is otherwise unable to do so with the UI launch.)
Number key 5 inserts tokens (which otherwise launching from the UI interface (once adding the Snaps folder,) seems to bypass coins, as well as the loading screen with Darth Vader) and using the left mouse continues gameplay (so just add quite a few coins so you don't accidentally have to restart, clicking the left mouse button.)
For those not familiar with the game (and since using the mouse button gets a bit tiring if it runs at a faster speed,) using the D button assists firing along with the left mouse button, with the right button using special attack prompts. The duel fighting scenes use reverse movement which makes it irritating, though can be slightly easier when accustomed to it.
The sound will still glitch at times, though it mostly is passable.

I suspect that most people that genuinely follow such nonsense are abused covert/codependent narcissists that are easily preyed upon by unscrupulous types. If you have ever had to deal with such people, trying to teach them about such things is like the adage of leading a horse to water "only you can't make them drink." They are more apt to stare into the reflection of the water.
They are wounded "children" in adult bodies.
