On the one hand I hate advertising and I think it's one of the most insidious poisons in our society. But some commercials still manage to entertain or otherwise delight me - even as I'm aware that I'm being manipulated.
And then there are the best SNL satirical commercials.

A Julio Torres sketch. He does some of my favorites.
I guess gender roles push a button for me. Go figure.

This homophobic commercial from 20 years ago still cracks me up. Ten guys hanging out, one reads a magazine that says 1 out of 10 Argentine men are gay. They all get self-conscious about who the gay one is and one guy who was obliviously getting some Fernet turns around and when everyone stares at him, says, "What? Do you like me?"
("Do you like me" is a common question to ask someone who's staring at you)
They'd cancel the fuck out of this commercial today xD
