Ironically at around 4:30 the news feed talks about the lead in Flint's drinking water, after Trump talks about how the world thinks we're stupid (and he was voted in by the people.)

The Simpsons did make an early prediction about a post-Trump election leading to financial ruin on the nation (and the idea that societies spiral towards an Idiocracy would lead to a Trump presidency.)

The above video just get's more obnoxious than usual given the nature of Trump.

*****************

I was noticing in the arcade sequence of the mall, a person who was clearly not part of the main characters (after they cleaned up all the dead zombies) was walking behind the main character as they were filming.) Either this was a mistake in editing or they were giving someone a cameo appearance of some kind.

There was a remake of the 1978 film in 2006

Full 1978 film is found on youtube (though I recommend watching it on DVD or a better streaming of it.)

Tai Lopez sounds like Jim Bakker with his hotel (at 1:20 )

I still don't know whether I should be thankful he's keeping zombie retail alive (since he started retailecommerceventures.com, some of the companies he acquired include Pier 1 or Radio Shack) or that he is clearly just attempting to find ways to lure gullible people along to appear benign and honest (he's clearly not, and I kind of expect him to fall prey to his own snare trap.) He seems to be pricing junk products that clearly cost a small fraction of the claimed 'sale' price while also manipulating people into thinking they are saving money with their limited discount offering.

He's a predator that too often gets away with BSing society.

NFT are a scam, and crypto is usually created by people just like him with intent on scamming people.

More discussing this 5 years ago and it doesn't seem reassuring he won't bite his own bullet.

I'll be checking the companies he acquired on Glassdoor.com to see if they've signed any NDA. . .

Worth seeing what deep thinking he does.

Found another article after noticing a FB marketplace listing for his bullshit RadioShack NFT which drags on for over 50 minutes with his 'Rocket Scientist' pal (who if he is so smart why is he going along with Tai's bullshit) claiming the obvious?
https://www.nomadsmd.com/tai-lopez/

I kind of feel even worse for pre-2000 RadioShack as it really hit the shitter, and ended up being ejected from the highest possible elevation.

It was around 2015 when he paid to be on Ted Talks (talking about KNOWLEDGE!) and then segwayed into youtube advertisements, that he started paying to rent mansions and luxury cars and saying, "here in my back yard," and "here in my garage."

The first comment showing right now:

Vojtěch Březík 8 months ago
I had a classmate at uni, who I always felt was just too intelligent to succeed within the rules of the university life and even later on. He was very cynical, funny in a very dark way, sometimes pretentious, arrogant and annoying, but definitely one of the smartest people I knew at the time. After I had graduated, I found out he worked in a deli at a local supermarket and did not graduate.
I was stunned. I have always felt like he could examinate the teachers. But I didn't feel like he had failed.
I have alwas felt that the uni had failed him.
It was a pleasure to discuss the materials with him, to argue with him, to exchange views, to be exasperated with him. He always read the materials we were supposed to and a little extra on top of that. Now, two people, who would always ask us what the books we were supposed to read were about and who were largely quiet during the seminars and when they spoke, the lecturer could not help but roll their eyes, went on to do their PhDs. I guess they are respected academics now. I will never stop being baffled by that. I guess some people are too smart and true to themselves to succeed in the fake world of human society.

***********

Short summary of above (to some extent.)

It is a bit weird, but I'm wondering if perhaps these kinds of production facilities have always had egregious errors that are only becoming more noticed in the media, or perhaps Russia could have people secretely sabotaging (doubtful,) or alternatively a deep state is intent on manipulating the world into creating manmade famines to depopulate (all the while pushing forward a ban on abortion???) Seems fairly absurd but it is nice to speculate about what seems rational.

If trying to scare people, play this The National Library of Medicine silent video playlist in the background.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YKVlST ... hbin6uXRj6

I suspect most of the people in the video show neurological impairment that is perhaps environmental in nature (and this kind of issue would only have increased following the adoption of leaded gasoline, around the time these videos had come out.) Prior to the time these videos came out people would have become exposed to lead in paint, but also tons of industries would have released Nitric Oxide which contributes to Parkinsons, and the New York area would have contained a lot of toxic elements in the atmosphere.

Kurosawa's 'Ran' was downloaded from Archive.org but the quality and pacing really needs to be experienced on the blu-ray disk (preferably on a larger screen with good sound quality audio.)

Alternatively, this movie was largely overlooked and was one of the more interesting (and reminiscent of Hizao Miyazaki animes) to some extent.

CYRANO DE BERGERAC

Gerard Depardieu had grown up with an alcoholic father and a mother that was constantly pregnant, and himself has been known to pee ON an airplane when drunk.

He's also a Russian citizen (just like the Mongoloid Steven Seagal.)
Gérard Depardieu, Friend of Putin, Denounces ‘Fratricidal War’
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/01/movi ... e-war.html

I had a VHS tape of part 1 of Count of Montecristo which was used only for previewing and not intended to be copied since they would show lines of text and go from color to black and white, and were sent to Blockbuster Management (so it was kind of rare but not ideal, and they were supposed to be destroyed after viewing and not resold.) It was probably the first time seeing Gerard Depardieu, though I had been familiar with him, and at a time when a lot of French literature and movies were popular.

Gerard's 1998 tv movie (6 hours?)

Some argue the book is more true to the story.

At an earlier part of the video they mention a bunch of mirrors in the basement and how superstition made reference to the soul:
'The Devil Lives in the Mirror'

That photo appears to be taken facing a mirror in front of the bannister and might have incidentally captured an apparition. The photo also appears to be about a century old.

Also, reading, 'What happened to England's abandoned mansions?'

I think Dave Chappelle was inspired by In Living Color, but Keenan Wayan also did encounter Rick James.

According to a reliable source,1 Norman Bridwell, a close personal friend of Karl Marx and adviser to Pol Pot, was a card-carrying member of the American Communist Party. The metaphor is obvious: a big red canine teaches children the importance of sharing and working together. (While cleverly ignoring the consequences of such un-American behavior.)

Stories include “Clifford Goes to School” and “Clifford Goes to Work, Where He Organizes a Workers’ Revolution.” Noticeably absent from the collection of short stories are those resulting from the success of the red menace’s machinations, such as “Clifford Institutes a Five-Year Plan” or “Clifford Murders Political Dissidents.”

The Russian Woodpecker 2015 · 1 hr 21 min Documentary
https://tubitv.com/movies/546453/the-russian-woodpecker

The Duga antenna relay was a missile detection system and nothing more, and the failure of the power station was due to incompetent oversight leading to years-long failure in addressing faults of the power station. The failure of the power station put at risk the inability to monitor missile launches and posed significant risks to their defensive position, and likewise gave apprehension to continuing the "cold war" (which has still always been behind the scenes.)

Cult of the Suicide Bomber
https://tubitv.com/movies/606412/cult-o ... oplay=true

One of the more telling documentaries that seems to give a good perspective on the insanity.

I fear that suicide bombers believe they are justified, especially with VERY EVIDENT supression of Israeli atrocities, by killing Journalists like Shireen Abu Akleh by Israli soldiers.

https://www.middleeasteye.net/opinion/s ... lestinians

4 shots were fired, trailing from a few feet above her head striking a tree with the 4th shot striking her helmet and penetrating it. Her associate Journalist with her was crouching behind the tree noticing she was likely dead, fearing for her own life. Another Palestinian jumps down from the road above her and checks her vitals while another gunshot went off near them.

Al Jazeera also had a building bombed by Israel, and I usually respect the quality of their journalism.

Update: When watching The Stand movie I could have sworn the evil dude, Randall Flagg (Jamey Sheridan) the Lucifer/Satan metaphor (in contrast to the black Oracle type of character) was the same guy that played Dr. Frederick Chilton (Anthony Heald) in The Silence of the Lambs.

I also need to get around to finally watching the IT movies (though I would prefer to just watch the TV miniseries even if the recent movie was free to watch.)
