Archaeologists Uncover 800-Year-Old ‘Treasure Tunnels’ Of The Knights Templar Under Israeli City
https://allthatsinteresting.com/knights ... Ux2ES_Zj2g

He seemed to have got out of the crop circle topic. . . Not sure if he's just presenting this as what native's talk about, or if he really believes what he's saying (because evidently the island of Atlan would not have sunk 3 consecutive times by three historical figures, though a shred of truth might be behind some of it, ergo what Egypt and Herodotus talk about (who tended to exaggerate a lot of what he said, but it does beg to answer, could some of the pyramids have a much earlier civilization that built them??? An Ancient pyramid builder culture?)

Update: The video is fake, (look at a more recent video down below about WTC7 which acknowledges it was fake.)

This is more interesting and seems to also corroborate the narrative that Russia has always been rather incompetent and unable to do even basic stuff at a rudimentary level (and if it's any indication, most governments operate on a bureaucracy that is blunderingly incompetent.

This sounds made-up: contract killer sounds like someone playing too many Hitman games
https://thoughtcatalog.com/henry-galley ... ill-again/

The show must go on?

Most of Patrick Flanagan's bullshit is apparent (his megahydrate is an electrolyte pill and he was raided by the FDA and had to change their label) and his neurophone is a closed loop circuit using your body as a contact point which allows the transducers to act as a speaker when in contact with the forehead, which allows the cochlear bones in the inner ear to register sound (though does not bypass the ear and still requires a functional nervous system to hear it as would be expected, otherwise deaf people would be using this device as claimed, and you just don't hear/read about this among the deaf communities or otherwise Patrick would have a bigger following outside of woo science.) Patrick is much like many scam artists that tows the line of "possibility" just enough that he can wiggle his way out of accountability.

I still bought a neurophone about 20 years ago, and within a few years of owning it had to replace the ac adapter (which might have been a 15volt adapter used for a prototype display version without the DSP on it, so it had more power to it but generally operates at 12 V) and three 9v Ni-Cd/Ni-Mh batteries and from what I can tell regarding the gofundme on a newer version, these seem to be a one-trick pony show that he does to get money from gullible people (such as myself when I was "open-minded.")

He most likely died of cancer which some speculate was the result of using his Neurophone, which incidentally Reddit talked about as being a microwave to fry the brain

Around the time I bought a neurophone (20 years ago,) another guy who went by Dr. Bob Beck was selling a 'Biotuner' BP-7 device that used a similar method of transducers which had a rubber component and a cloth wrap that went around it which you dampen with water, which eventually was swapped out with ear clips, and prior you would attach the transducers just underneath the ears along the neck.

To some extent it does seem to aid with depression as it acts as a stimulator, though it might even more similarly seem to be like electroshock therapy.

Googling: "ECT may flood the brain with neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine, which are known to be involved in conditions like depression and schizophrenia."

I had experimented with Neurophone DSP, the Biotuner BP-7, and something referred to as a light-and-sound machine called Photosonix Nova Pro 100. If I were to recommend any of these to people, I would simply tell them to find a youtube video with music and binaural beats for meditation, and it might even be much safer than using a Neurophone and BP-7. Their are some benefits but it's really about a stimulation effect, and it can become a bad habit to rely on such devices. If anything it just becomes an expensive curiosity with antiquated components that constantly need replacing (and with the Neurophone it doesn't even work without completely replacing the unreliable batteries, and he mostly just redesigned it to use newer batteries.) I'll admit I was curious about the newer device but I have come to the conclusion that the neurophone is really just a speaker that uses the body as a contact point for the transducer, which functions as a piezoelectric effect to generate audible noise (which is audible both outside and inside the body, but it's a bit like a magic trick where the illusion is that it seems to bypass the ears, which are not purely a tympanic membrane, but rather the cochlear bones.

Apparently, this website (which I probably read around the time of buying it) claims proof that it does use the nervous system and allowed deaf people to hear?
http://www.jedisimon.com/articles/Deaf%20can%20hear.htm

Yet people in the deaf community seem angry at the suggestion that it would allow them to hear (and most have never heard of it apparently?)

Forging Swords, Forging Oneself: Yoshihara Yoshindo, Katana Swordsmith
https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/onde ... 9wkZeQlDXs

As cool as it is (and though I love the idea of crafting in historic methods,) a decent real hamon sword can be crafted for $250. No one would be willing to risk using a $60,000 for it's intended purpose (in contemporary society, the expected purpose would be cutting old tatami mats,) and used antique swords in decent quality (since they never were used) from the Edo era can be acquired for significantly cheaper.

Perhaps it can be seen as culturally significant and probably a legacy that is exceedingly rare, much like woodblock prints. I would much rather have had a legitimate woodblock print with historically accurate sourced paper than a modern recreation printed off junk paper from a paper mill. Perhaps what makes a classically trained swordsmith more significant is the skill required to reproduce a good quality katana with metal that doesn't break, which is very different from machined metal. The same argument could be made for how capitalism has sold-out certain elements of trust in legacy cultural heritage, similar to imitating products that were uniquely evolved from historic roots, and substituting it for the real thing (imitation food for example, or any mass-produced abomination.)
Even if modern steel has some differences/advantages/weak points, it can also be essential for people to have some remnant of reverence for cultural heritage, as without it people will be unable to recognize what is authentic and significant. One could also argue that the slight imperfections that made famous painters stand out are the unique identifiers that make the paintings they made "stand out," and then whatever was produced by someone historically can just as well become a byproduct of irreverence for what compelled them to create such work (a bit like Jay-Z and Beyonce using an anti-capitalist Basquiat painting as a sign of refinement, when it's likely the painter would have disproved of how his work was presented.) The rarity is in how society becomes out-of-touch with traditions or what made the work unique, as it's a sign of that person's experience (much as Akira Kurosawa might have been personally affected by an earthquake that devastated his family along with the impact of WW2 and emphasized the human condition throughout his work, as well as why his movies were completely different from any other director because of the skill of the performers that he incorporated.)

I posted a video earlier about WTC7 which showed it had demolition, and it was probably fake.

Also, in Cocktail, he saved the female actor's life by tackling her when she was running toward a helicopter and seemingly oblivious to the spinning blades (and apparently it was the rear rotor, but even if you approach directly from the side, the blades have a tendency to dip and can easily decapitate.)

Also, something like this seems to have a number of things wrong with it. . .
