Much of George Lucas and Spielburg films are really cringey, and an example is from the transcript the two had regarding 'Raiders of the Lost Ark,' where an already underage relation (16-year old with 25 Indie) with Indy was considered as an 11-year old. Not to mention it makes little sense the character was 22 and owning a bar.

Basically, it's a coded message about "casting couches" and what people would do to become famous (the reality vs the artificiality of a dream world, and basically, prostitution.)

He is free now. . . Even though he confessed and was only questioned on the murders when turning in a gun and saying he killed someone.

https://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/lo ... 74904.html

Reading the article (which is badly written) you could argue some very odd things happened with this case, including a white man that was fondling the woman's body at a funeral parlor (where she apparently would have already been shot and presumably autopsied,) and he seems to have confessed as well.

Whether the Police department was doing forced confessions in interrogation, I'm not sure what else they would have looked for in evidence and just how likely would a military base have had multiple people enter the house that was lived in for no more than one week, just to stalk and rape, steal, and murder someone? Pretty crazy.

Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) (I just finished rewatching Sergio Leons . . . in America and might rewatch this)

Dailymotion has Malèna (2000) in Italian (which might be all you need to watch it. . .)

Sonic (2020) is on this list

Nikita (1990)

I remember when a TV show was being advertised, and the annoyance of it repeating 'La Femme Nikita!' made me never want to watch it.

This one ages better (though The Island Earth has impressive visuals in the later half of the film, that were uncommon for another decade.)
The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951)

The typical 1950s robot (similar to Forbidden Planet, which is probably the inspiration for the Fallout game robots)

Many different movies (Bicycle Thieves is considered one of the best movies made.)
https://archive.org/details/15_alice

I started watching travelogues to examine the "white savior" complex of people that squander thousands of dollars to pretend to resolve the issues of foreign countries (which apparently, if you took 140 million 'orphans" and used $3000 per year, that would equal hundreds of trillions of dollars per year, which is shy of what someone pretending to save the world is capable of.)

https://www.youtube.com/c/TheTravelbum/videos

Most of the videos are just videos of people stuffing their faces in crappy street food which they could probably find similar such places near themselves if they bothered to look for it, or better yet, actually cook the stuff themselves without having to waste resources pretending like they are becoming more cultured and "worldly."

The dangers of being naive in an environment that could become quickly hostile towards you, is not readily apparent to many people that travel. You don't want to be the person that feels like an environment is receptive to you simply because you are interested in their culture, without regarding whether that culture is entirely receptive to you and your freedoms. An example would be taking marijuana or coca leaves (not cocaine) into Russia, or not wearing a headpiece to cover yourself, or properly cover your skin in a Muslim culture (even if the men enjoyed staring at you.)

People that have the impression that their amazeballs experience in North Korea or China might discover they are in an indoctrination camp or never heard from again, and especially absurd is the reality that what makes it easy for someone to explore and travel the global is very hypocritical of the struggle that most such parts of the world endure just to allow such entitled mindsets to exist in the first place.
