Read through the constitution sometime, it's hilarious just how much of it is routinely trampled, and yet people still hold it up as some sacrosanct thing. Our president has literally ordered the execution of an American citizen without trial or charges, and nobody bats an eye.

Does your food and soft drinks and stuff taste different because of high fructose corn syrup? I understand that Coca Cola used to be sugar-based in the U.S. and is still sugar-based (sucrose-based) in many other countries. I guess I'm wondering if you can taste the difference or not.

I'm so used to HFCS that I couldn't tell you.
I guess that's probably the way for most who don't have PTSD from the changeover.

What are conversations about money like in the U.S.? Do y'all talk about how much money you make? When making small talk, do you ask people what they do for a living? Would you ask how well it pays?
