Re: The Eurovision thread!
I essentially hate modern pop so my tastes are tediously predictable. See how shocked you are that I am keen on this melodramatic bullshit:
And "I Don't Feel Hate" delivers on fun nonsense, I GUESS.

Re: The Eurovision thread!
Madrigal just asked me "what's the Eurovision?".
An important part of my childhood is what it is.

Re: The Eurovision thread!
Had to see what Ireland is up to this year:
The start sounds like autotune or something, and she really needs to relax or she'll give herself a hernia.
Has the look and feel of a tourist board song.
edit: French song is good!

Re: The Eurovision thread!
This reminded me of a recent Indila song, Parle à ta tête, in that it almost sounds like the unfortunate remix version of an otherwise OK/good song, but this is all we get.
Or it did, until you said this and now that is all I can think. Ireland: We'll show you the way home.Has the look and feel of a tourist board song.
It also reminded me of Radiate (also French, but in English), this time for the more relevant reason of having in common a wee lady with wispy white hair in a forest.
"regardez-moi, ou du moins ce qu'il en reste" (look at me, or at least what remains) loledit: French song is good!
Re: The Eurovision thread!
This from the person that didn't know the Lambada. :p
Did that Volare oh oh Cantare oh oh oh oh song ever win Eurovision? It sounds like just the stuff for it.
I will either love or hate this.
Re: The Eurovision thread!
It is a dance, dumbass. As I just discovered five seconds ago on the way to deciding which terrible lambda joke to make here. Instead you get this!
Re: The Eurovision thread!
I know it's a dance, you nincompoop. But Madrigal was referring to the song, which I also know of, though I admittedly did not know it was named after the famous style of dance.
Re: The Eurovision thread!
For some reason learning to dance the Lambada was a big thing when I was 11 years old.
I confess when I said "the Lambada" I was referring to the song "Chorando se foi" by Kaoma which is popularly known as the Lambada even though I'm not sure the song even mentions the word. Their other hit Dançando Lambada was a lesser hit.
