Not sure about the mint idea but I'll take your word for it.

I put cheese on broccoli all the time but I don't think I could find that cheese, or that it would be a success in this household. :ph34r: I'll try to remember to look for it though.

Personally I like to think I like stinky cheeses, though I do remember tasting one in France that tasted like fish and was revolting.

I noticed in Argentina that - without the French laws on protected designation of origins that they then forced on the rest of Europe through the EU - what is called 'roquefort' has as much to do with the real French cheese as the 'champagne' that is sold there.

Now, now, according to legend, some Baron married into the Chandon family came to Argentina in the 50s and, upon noticing that Argentineans pumped sparkling water into their wine on a regular basis, decided the land was ideal for a champagne industry and established in Argentina Chandon's first subsidiary outside France (producing the excellent Baron B. and other sparkling wines). :P

Well, in Spain and Italy cava and prosecco used to be marketed as 'Spanish/Italian champagne' respectively but they were forced to rename it. Now both terms are basically synonomous for prole champagne that you buy for a few Euros in the supermarket... I wonder with the war in Ukraine, Russia will no longer care about French protests and go back to calling their old Soviet champagne by that name https://vinepair.com/articles/stalin-soviet-champagne/

Falafel, with naan (prefer it to pita, sorry), cucumber, tomtaoes, and baba ghanoush ( cooked in a pressure cooker, learned the recipe from a cookbook I got from the big library down town).

Cooked it for a platonic female friend of mine. She loved it.
