Wide open spaces, indoors

I never finished my closet expansion project but doorless closets are a thing now. I'll probably throw out my bedroom closet doors. Have you or anyone you know gone doorless with any closets? Personally, I'm against it, but with one or two select closets, it makes sense so you can have a little overflow beyond where the doors might be. Mostly though, I prefer having doors to prevent dust from getting on stuff in closets.

You will want to avoid moths getting in, but also if prone to throw junk into it, it might not make much sense to leave it open.
