What are you watching?
Re: What are you watching?
It was interesting and had a happy ending. It mentioned Steel Magnolias and then I watched that movie.
Re: What are you watching?
A home invader in Houston, TX being shot at by multiple camera angles. I can easily imagine a video game that incorporates different perspectives like this, in order to unravel events (actually one did come out called Ground Zero: Texas on the SegaCD, but it was kind of crap.)

It was probably released by accident, though it has a lot more red flags regarding what the US was doing there, and the patents for vaccines showing a possible use of graphene oxide as a carrier for weaponization (though it mentions it in patents, it doesn't mean it was specifically used in mRNA vaccines; though why it shows up in patents specifically with that potential use does seem suspicious. )

I'm still not sure where to place Daniel Sheehan (from the first UFO video) ; on one context he refers to angel realms, and in another, he still doesn't strike me as credible when he says we have recovered alien bodies and had them in hospital care.
This would never be made today.

I was considering getting the complete set of Zatoichi, but I don't see it on the same level as someone like Kurosawa (so not sure I would actually watch it,) and the idea of a perpetually blind warrior seems like it would get pretty boring not long into it.

Even with this documentary and publicity, it seems no one has a clue who he is?
Some of his behavior almost seems like someone who lived as a spy and had little connection to others, but it seems most likely he knew he was going to die from health ailments, and didn't want people he still had some connection to to realize what he had done (though as to why he disposed of items, could suggest he had something he didn't want others to know about?)

Titanic related films/documentaries
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA_ydvl ... wR9bZ-SM9i
Not sure if this was linked in the above.
Someone argued that he iceberg left very small cuts that could easily have had the leaks slowed down enough by filling them in with blankets and other things, that would have been sufficient to get them safely to America.
Titanic was sunk by incompetence of its crew
https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/c ... rew.51037/
Watching the movie above it showed absurd things well after they knew they were fated to sink, such as Officers chastising the young shipmates for smoking, claiming they would be written up on the Captain's log book. Both movies depicted barriers being used to keep the lower cabins from moving to the top decks, while also warning them of breaking the gate, that they were "destroying ship property," also seems to pop up in numerous accounts. Just noting the lack of preparation as well as many aspects of things that weren't even accounted for in 'A Night to Remember' as well as 'Titanic,' such as the binoculars being locked away in fear of them being lost (or stolen?) but also well after numerous notifications and line-of-sight ice off in the horizon where the Captain insisted on making a speed record for it's "maiden voyage." Many aspects at the time of the Titanic, such as not having 24-hr correspondence was considered commonplace, so the guy going off to sleep with no one to replace him for morse code was an accurate representation. Lack of training and preparation for lowering the boats also might have been depicted in the Titanic movie, regarding one side of the lifeboat being lowered, and the other side getting stuck or snagged, where the boats sometimes fell into the water and also flipped over, but also not filling the boats to the full extent was well represented in both movies.
Also, if Jack existed, he could easily have fit on the door. The real person behind the inspiration for Rose's Husband character was actually a hero that went down with the ship.
The older movie is actually better (though has equally contrived characters similar to Jack and Rose; instead they show a very unhurried love relation seemingly oblivious of the plight of the ship; though historically accurate because people were being kept intentionally "out of the loop" so not to panic, by this time the fate of the ship was very much inevitable. The 1997 Titanic movie was adapted for modern (Hollywood. . .) audiences. The older film never recuperated the costs of making it, but considering the budget they had (500,000 pound sterling) it was a pretty impressive movie. The Titanic's CGI makes it look dated already. James Cameron very evidently took a lot of inspiration from the earlier film and created the Jack and Rose character to make the movie more relatable. The 'Unsinkable Molly Brown' and the many of the wealthier crew on board (though John Jacob Astor IV only shows in 1953 and has a minor role in 1997 Titanic movies.) A Chef on the real Titanic got piss drunk and managed to survive the freezing cold, and had also survived another ship sinking, but no movies seem to ever show him.
The appeal of the ship Titanic is a preoccupation with excess and the collapse of the Gilded Age.
Titanic: 5 Historical Inaccuracies In The Movie (& 5 Things It Got Right)
https://screenrant.com/titanic-james-ca ... ips-nearby
Though the Carpathia is the ship that ultimately came to the rescue, the 'A Night to Remember' accurately represented ships that were nearby in the distance that failed to acknowledge the Titanic's numerous distress signals. Ship culture just seemed to blunder on numerous occasions which is kind of typical for the stereotype of undisciplined Sailors (hence the era of Popeye not long after this time period.)

Re: What are you watching?
Somehow this video manages to go on for nearly 12 hours, though the information presented so far up to 1 hour 20 minutes is fairly decent, and I suspect many Christians have no acknowledgement of what it implies about the Canaanite Yahweh being incorporated into Judaism (and it would explain the similarities to Syria's temple predating Solomons by 200 years, appearing very similar to what is generally accepted of it's appearance, and is apparently much bigger than it.

John Candy started to gorge on food to cope with his anxiety and career stressors, and you can notably tell in his last recorded film (released prior to a previous film, Canadian Bacon,) when used a stand-in for part of the filming to cope with the fact he died of a heart attack. He was looking a bit fat for a frontiersman.

The film is perhaps better than the ratings give it credit, but it does look pretty bad.
It's a bit reminiscent of people that turn to things like alcohol and die (and after seeing the above movie, I would be surprised if John Candy just indulged in food.)
