Little Rants
Re: Little Rants
Charlie Kirk advocated for being gaslighted and following teachings that were intended to brainwash generations of people towards ideologies that were antithetical to ethical treatment of anyone more than the so-called 'Author(s)' of the book(s).
It's a circle jerk of self-defeating ideologies, where advocates to tribalistic thinking can get deindividuated people with brain rot to obsequiously prostrate themselves before the pillar, of those like Charlie who existed vicariously through the verboten texts, echoed through religion or "good" sounding ideas which always has a gray area that proscribes antipathy towards actual "empathy," hence why he conflated the pretense of "sympathy" and it's expression which connotes a socio-cultural hegemony of fakery to appear outwardly sacrosanct, while being sycophantic towards the "Leader" or whomever they seek approval from; forgetting that within their self-serving interests, that a palimpsest has eked itself out through the pages and managed to be forgotten as to the origin of the source material--the age old iteration on previous ideas that they rob the identity of--forgetting their "greatness" is only as good as attrition hasn't caught up, or entropy, with their existence.
Hammurabi would have a word with Charlie Kirk, and perhaps would scald his tongue with a hot iron, though I don't believe Charlie cared for transparency and was merely a grifter for easy score points where no one can have a say in edgewise.
How many people succumbed to the torture and emotional abuse of such people; those who considered their relationship transactional--trauma-bonding with their "maker"--and having a superficial relation and being complacent with a false-sense of security.
The racists and sexists statements that Charlie Kirk is known for suggests, that the times he was a "good" person can easily hemorrhage when you contrast it with his bad ideologies.
The same lies regarding employment statistics are the same lies he perpetuated about immigration (since no one was around to document or deport, he pretends like he's reversing the data that is shown on people that cross the border, when the only real reason "so many" were "flooding the country" is because Biden actually had accurate reports done instead of putting his head in the sand, while actually doing something about the issue, rather than exploiting the vitriol and hate to game the grift wagon towards whatever populist ideology was convenient for him.)
Trump Inherits Better Southern Border Situation Than He Left Biden
https://www.newsweek.com/southern-borde ... rt-2019770
Charlie Kirk believed that Trump was doing the right thing with immigration, when it's very apparent that he isn't, and his "base" has more in common with the "sundown towns,"
Charlie Kirk advocated for armed violence when the political theater no longer represented "them" (and who are "them" is the crux of the argument, since anyone with bias can selectively filter through their own desired wish-fulfillment.)

When posting on the topic of Starbucks firing employees and closing down around 900 stores:
"Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol earned approximately $95.8 million in 2024, which is 6,666 times more than the average employee."
**
A response from someone who's profiles shows he was a Manager at McDonalds (and Wendy's) :
"if your[you're] mad at the rich for being rich[,] you’re mad at the wrong person[.]"
***
My response:
You need a further understanding of how exploitation occurs.
The Executive Pay Cap That Backfired (basically Bill Clinton wanted to restrict excessive CEO pay but they just funneled it into CEO stock options; hence why Steve Jobs was ("only. . .") paid $1. . . (it wasn't because he wanted to leave money on the table for his employees and growth.)
https://www.propublica.org/article/the- ... -backfired
His response (which received a laughing emoji from someone from Sweden and never elaborated.)
"you can only be exploited if you allow it…once again, if you’re mad at the rich for being rich, you’re mad at the wrong person"
***
So you believe so fully in what you are saying (which I believe, implies that YOU are to blame for not being rich?) So why aren't you "rich?"
You apparently worked for McDonalds, so you "should know" that Ray Kroc was only successful with the franchise when he decided to lease the property land to the franchisee, which meant that any unsuccessful property debt would be incurred by the property owner.
Subway likewise would compete with independent franchisees with their own corporate owned stores--so why is this--and shouldn't it be considered illegal, similar to racketeering?
Why do large corporations have loopholes that are completely unatainable by individuals; and then when the government attempts to restrict unfair advantages that run people out of their livelihood, corruption and grift becomes commonplace, to the point that "no one is listening."
So what did you conclude after "presumably" reading that article, in which you decided to ignore? Is it not evident that a CEO whose salary is tied to how much he can get away with (including tax advantages) and likewise the manipulation of profits and costs to a store, are far more appealing to them within short term, than whether or not their own associates who are loyal to the company get to maintain their measly pay they've accumulated out of so many years with inflation double-screwing them?
Not to mention, Starbuck's coffee sucks, but people will just continue to reward corporations for screwing over the farmers (in what they believe to be slave-like conditions) that grow beans, only for them to over roast the heck out of them so people don't recognize how bad it actually is.
And then again, absolutely none of this is new to society and it does go back to how labor has always been exploited for thousands of years (though I'm sure if you were honest, you would know that?)

I followed-up with something that seems to confirm what I was saying (though I'm sure the idiot is one of those MAGA fluffers that doesn't understand this part.)

It seems those black franchisees felt, that McDonalds was holding them back; intentionally, for that matter. I guess image is more important than authenticity towards the goal post.

Just a thought. . . Is inductive thinking so rare that people are incapable of doing anything more than regurgitating their staid mentality?
You really think that the people that are rich aren't their because they had certain access to advantages not attainable to many people, and just happened to correspond to the anti-hero myth they so often project?
You can look a the background of Warren Buffett (who lived right down the street from Coca Cola executives; hence why Politicians are also WAAAAAY MORE SUCCESSFUL at stock trading than even Warren Buffet is, because they have connections) or circumstances dealing with funding, such as Jeff Bezos having startup backing from his family, or Elon Musk pretending like he wasn't just a grifter.
Though I don't expect you to elaborate.

My response:
A whiner, who accuses other people of being "mad at the rich" rather than acknowledging the obvious problem that you seem incapable of understanding; nor are you capable of elaborating on.
And the "if I kept my dogecoin instead of being so pissed off at the evident grift of Elon Musk, I would have been a multimillionaire when it was 35,000% what I bought it for" doesn't phase me one bit, even if I probably "could" use more money.

Worth mentioning, this is mostly in reference to the transition to fiat currency replacing the gold standard. Some believe that history will look back at Nixon's speech about this transition as one of his greatest follies.

Those arguing that they were agitators or blocking ICE vehicles, clearly don't want to read; that that is a lie.
The irony, that the local government specifically forbid the targeting of religious groups--where someone who is supporting that protest is hit in the head with a high velocity pepper ball--doesn't somehow bring into question the competence of those who just, somehow, "don't undertand," shouldn't come as much of any surprise.
And whether they are bald because they figure they are more "pure" or because they are geriatric, is the real perplexing thought. Perhaps they have been wearing their MAGA hats too tight, though they would still blame their impotence on Biden?
Just because they were hit in the head repeatedly as children, should not normalize such things being done to people, "that shouldn't have been there."

I got this new computer with twice as much RAM as my old one and it crashed when I had about 10 browser tabs open plus Word and Google Maps. It crashed a second time under the same conditions except I was watching a Youtube video instead of using Google Maps. It shouldn't have. I think this will be the last used computer and monitor that I buy. I got more memory, so now it has 32 GB RAM, then I got a graphics card. After installing the graphics card I had to go through two-factor authentication, requiring that I update my phone number. That update processes causes your (or at least my) computer to be inaccessible for 30 days. In that time, the person with your old number is contacted and given a chance to log in and cancel the update. This happened because, for the first time, I got the pro version of Windows and Bit Locker was on. I'll be changing my phone number again, maybe in a few months. I'll probably turn off bit locker. For now I'm back on Windows 10. I'm glad I saved my old computer.

Got that clock, had it a year, then used the "one time only" alarm feature but it rang on more than that one day. And earlier in the year I could have sworn it missed an alarm. I threw it out. In looking for a replacement, I checked Sharper Image. They sell the same one I threw out (possibly a newer version because I noticed a version number on mine, but it looked identical).HighlyIrregular II wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 9:31 pm...self-setting alarm clock that lets you set alarms for specified days of the week...
The place I want to move to has lots of reviews of creaky floors. My current place has creaky floors but no reviews about it. Absence of creakiness is one of the things I wanted. I'm thinking of weighting down the floor with heavy things and holding onto furniture as I walk from the bedroom to the kitchen at night.

The Trump administration is going to lead to a similar scenario, where all the competent people leave the US and all you have are people who were inbred invalids with genetic deformities.

Kind of ranty but it does point out how the CIA has probably (and proven to be) been trafficking drugs for laundering money and carrying on their missions (or sabotaging governments while pretending to be doing a "War on Drugs."

A lot of attention is given to this just after James Watson's death (the rest of the co-shared Nobel Prize died around 2004, long after Roselind Franklin died prior to the 1962 award for DNA double-helix structure model.)
Most sources claim Roselind Franklin took the photo (she didn't) and it was Raymond Gosling (the one who took the photo) whose supervisor Maurice Wilkins co-shared the Nobel Prize, where they also mentioned Roselind Franklin's major contributions to the project.
Though she did allude to a helical structure (as evident in the image,) it was the double-helix concept that was essential to coming to the conclusions that were necessary to how it is understood.
She sat on the photo and excluded it's mention in lectures, and it wasn't until Maurice Wilkins discussed the photo with Watson and Crick that it was being given more serious attention.
And perhaps to some extent they might have had their own ambitions and took advantage of her leaving the college as well as the later cancer diagnosis, where they still kept her company?
It's worth mentioning:
Franklin's graduate student, Raymond Gosling, noted that she was pleased with their progress but also critical of their interpretations.
Critique of Their Work
Franklin pointed out mistakes in Watson and Crick's models of DNA, indicating her deep understanding of the structure.
She believed that their conclusions were not fully supported by the data available at the time.

Though was her not being alive to receive the Nobel Prize sexism or just how society remembers catchy titles (much like saying Roselind Franklin took the photo?)
I was inspired to write that after seeing a Facebook post (where they do specify it was her work in X-ray crystallography (where did pretty much get the majority of the gist of the DNA structure correct.)
Science Museum of Minnesota
Yesterday, biologist James Watson passed away at the age of 97. He and his colleague, Francis Crick are credited with discovering the double-helix form of DNA, earning them the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine.
While Watson and Crick received much of the fame for unveiling DNA’s double helix, it was the groundbreaking X-ray crystallography work of Rosalind Franklin that provided the critical evidence to reveal the molecule’s true structure.
Franklin discovered that DNA existed in two forms, A-DNA and B-DNA, and crucially established that phosphate groups lay on the outside of the DNA molecule. Her high-quality X-ray diffraction images, especially the famous "Photo 51," provided clear evidence of the helical structure of DNA.

Oh and Linus Pauling suggested a triple-helix in 1953, and then Watson, Crick then suggested double-helix and are believed to have used the photo to help "translate" the idea to a wider audience.

Sam Altman was just given a subpoena on stage in San Francisco which reopened the discussion by a few that he was responsible for the Whistleblowers death (when nothing indicates such.)
I overlooked that this was considered a murder (and it seems if the article came out in January 2, a year after he would have bought a gun (and believed to be the date he would have done this, and he doesn't seem to have been found until February, 2024.)
Missing pen drive, no CCTV cameras: The shocking revelations in OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji's death case

Police reaffirm OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji killed himself
https://indicanews.com/police-reaffirm- ... d-himself/
The video after he he was found (and was removed along with the weapon.)
If I were to guess I would think he shot himself while sitting in the desk chair and when that didn't do himself in he walks over to the bathroom to look into the mirror and then takes a few steps back and shots himself again in the doorway? Not usually does the first shot always have the effect, since people subconsciously will move when attempting it (and why often people will shoot away from themselves at first and prime themselves in attempting with the second shot.)
If it was a murder attempt using a weapon, the chance that someone would notice the sound would have been too risky (assuming the weapon has all the indications of being used in the manner suggested, but that the noise itself was overlooked by what appears to be some amount of time since it shows a decomp stain, I would expect that enough evidence would be pretty obvious (and that the theories about his death are due to people like Elon Musk or Tucker Carlson. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It is worth noting that Sam Altman had received a subpoena while at a conference in San Francisco but this is in November, 2025 when it seems clear that Suchir died in January, 2024.
So considering what has been claimed of the story:
Suchir Balaji was found dead with a decomp stain on the ground possibly a month after buying a handgun, and pen drive was missing with surveillance camera wires cut.
He ordered takeout food and had returned from vacation in Catalina Island, it's believed he was intoxicated with wine and had something in his system that they weren't sure wasn't from his ADHD meds.
Doors were locked without any signs of forced entry and windows that would have been inaccessible for entry.
Both Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk are accusing Sam Altman of being behind it (though that doesn't always say much coming from them.)
I initially just assumed the pressure he would have been receiving for being cynical about AI might have caused him to turn the gun on himself in a hasty decision (and perhaps he bought the gun thinking he would use it for self-defense, though if the Police department isn't corrupt or "in on it" the forensics should be clear what happened.
Update:
The forensics at around 10 minutes is pretty odd and wouldn't make sense with my explanation (that he wouldn't have had a superficial wound that allowed him to go to the mirror, and the blood trail seems a bit strange, as he would have been immediately dead.)
This guy really is pretty weird though. . . (I kind of though his eyes had that "sanpaku eye" thing going on. . . So possibly a psychopath?)
Sam Altman is accused of sexually abusing his sister for over a decade.
And to remember that Sam Altman was fired and reinstated by his base.
And then you have thoughts of deregulation to make sure no one holds the AI companies accountable for a decade.
Open AI seeks profit at the risk of bailouts (even while many believe the platforms are not what they promise and are unprofitable, while becoming a drain on regular people.)
An example of how wealth generated by billionaires is subsidized and exploited through tax loopholes, that generate more wealth (and then people wonder why schools like Harvard have the most billionaire alumni?) Elon Musk is also regarded as a corporate welfare recipient.
New York Buffalo Bills new stadium getting $800 million from taxpayers for a new stadium, where many existing seasons pass fans are priced out, even though when the team was acquired for just over $1 billion and profited $4 billion in it's current stadium, they still seem to require handouts?

It is also a reminder of who are ultimately responsible for the grift and bullshit. . .
The idea that conservatives are better economic managers simply does not stand up

And one of the comments mentioned that Amazon publishes over 9,000 books a day, most of which are AI generated, and grifter self-publishing ads don't mention the use of AI to generate a self-published book. In a day and age where any real writing talent could be automatically assumed to be AI generated, or will be processed in such a way that any true creativity will be relegated to a junk heap of filters used to "pass the sniff test" of "acceptable criteria" for publication, people will be automatically shadow banned on the deified illusion of "progress."
The irony is if they are using AI, the books lack a spine.
And any that thinks self-publishing today "Democratizes books," can go fuck themselves.
